When my MIL lived with my wife and me, she got one of those 'echo' things from amazon. I wouldn't even let her take it out of the box, much less plug it into my network.
When all money becomes electronic. The “if” ship has already sailed.

It’s no different than the power company shutting off electricity to my home because they don’t like my shoes.
The entire incident began when a delivery driver wore ear buds while on a delivery. I’m no lawyer but there should be legal repercussions for wearing earbuds while driving around delivering things.

Why does everyone think passing another law will solve the problem. Conservatives are maybe worse than libs in this regard.
I have had conservatives tell me , “but OUR laws are better.”
Every law passed restricts our freedom and is used against us. We should require a law removed for everyone added.
I REFUSE to get any smart devices just as I refuse to get an Echo or any other such device. (Yes I know your smartphone can spy on you). I haven’t bought anything from Amazon in years and years.
If a delivery driver or somebody else were to falsely accuse me of being a “racist” or anything else they could.....they could.....well they could screw right off. There isn’t anything they could do about it. I’m going to keep it that way.
So, he called Amazon, got right through and talked to a customer service rep who told him to check his email and there was an email from an Amazon “executive” with the “executive’s” phone number, dialed it and got straight through to said “executive”? This story smells like BS.
I don’t even own a cellphone...None of this sh*t is in my house....
Perfectly legal to walk with earbuds, I don’t think it’s legal to drive around with them
