People drinking water from a reservoir with dead Nazis in it? Sounds like the setup for a low-budget horror movie.

It's also like living in Las Vegas where they drink water from a reservoir with dead mob victims in it.

There is no evidence that proves how the dam collapsed. Of course the Ukrainians claim Russia did it, and the Russians claim they didn't. Truth is that it could have been neither of them. It was built in 1956, which makes it 66 or 67 years old. What kind of maintenance has been done is not really known, that I have seen at any rate, so it may have developed a fatigue area that gave way. Seismic instruments recorded what appear to be two blasts. But I suspect if the dam collapsed on its own, the seismic reading would appear as being two blasts.

This publication is supposedly by Jewish reporters who claim to be of a conservative bent, but that doesn't mean it is correct at all.

I'm not supporting either side, but honestly assessing who gains from the destruction of this dam presents a different narrative. Ukraine benefits more than do the Russians by blowing up the dam, because it affects the south eastern Ukrainian population which is currently in Russian control. It may even be an element of the counter-offensive strategy to retake the Crimea.

Let's just say, I think the publication has been influenced into a conclusion, that is not based upon verified conclusive facts.

That is frequently stated, but think about it. Who was it who went into those wars and destroyed themselves? Yes, the “masculine” men. So they have no one to blame but themselves? Seems that if they got themselves into such situations, it wasn’t going to be any better with them still around.

Brother wars were pretty much over decades ago until Putin’s Big Brother Russia started whaling on its Little Brothers.

Unless of course you look at the Serbs. The only ethnic group in Europe that is ethnonationalist enough to still want to be like Russia.

Oh - and Russia swaps between arguing that Ukraine must’ve blown the dam up from the inside by invisible magic literally under the noses of a massively incompetent defense position like an act of mass seppuku, and arguing that of course Russia did it, intentionally, and Russian losses were low.

Their near instant turkey shooting at people trapped by a (cough) totally unexpected tsunami suggests Russia’s troops were not just prepped for the collapse, they were under orders to exploit it for maximum tactical benefit. Certainly not inspired to offer any assistance even to their own side.

Since

1. Russia had the lion’s share of motive, means and opportunity to blow the dam

2. They didn’t just exploit the tactical benefits, they were PREPARED to do it

3. They crow about doing it on their own TV, refuting arguments that Ukraine could’ve done it

4. Their dogmatic “if we see any foreign boots in the occupied Oblasts we’ll use nukes” is the primary reason why the international community won’t send in any humanitarian assistance without approval from Moscow. Russia could’ve made a clear exception but they haven’t. Remember... According to Moscovy logic, this is a humanitarian disaster on RUSSIAN land with RUSSIANS the victims.

5. Not only have Muscovite TV louts argued on multiple occasions that taking dams out is desirable, they’ve argued “destroy more dams please!” And Russians actually already have have taken out more dams. The one to watch is Kyiv Dam, because that’s the one the Solovyov Massif really wants to see going KaBOOM.

The “walks like a duck, quacks like a duck” principle applies. Russia is wearing its complicity on its sleeve.

How did it go from “The submerged skull and helmet of a Nazi soldier” to “Nazi Soldiers’ Skulls Emerge ...” One or the other, your dishonesty or your lack of reading comprehension is showing.

The pictured helmet and skull don’t appear to match. It could be a female’s skull posed with a relic helmet. At best, it could have originated from the gravesite of a Wehrmacht soldier whose grave was eroded by rushing floodwaters.

Perhaps a loyal Wehrmacht cook, who would rather have seen Hitler successfully assassinated than be thrust thousands of miles into the horrors of a war zone? Think of trusting all the Democrats in the US’ military.

As above, the “Death’s-Head” symbol once appeared on Swedish uniforms (and on select US’ WWII fighter aircraft).

Other than “borrowed” symbols of war, what makes Ukrainian soldiers identical to “Nazis”? When i was growing up, the swastika wasn’t unknown among US’ biker gangs. Even the “Peace” sign is seen on Wehrmacht tanks. (Pictured on the cover of WWII History magazine—June 2014).

People drinking water from a reservoir.

Not so sure it’s any worse then recycled toilet water cities use.

I’m sure it’s better than recycled sewage water.

I’m still glad my drinking water isn’t sourced through a reservoir though.

They don’t call Ukraine, Belarus, Poland etc. the blood lands for nothing. Truly one of the most murderous regions on earth over the last several hundred years.

Who's "they"? Comrades Boris and Igor? But I get your point. Why, there was even a Ukrainian dictator named Stalin who starved millions of peasants for daring to profit from their own labor and sent hundreds of thousands to gulags. Oh wait...

I don’t know about that body specifically but while looking for a pic to use I saw articles about some of the bodies in Lake Mead having been identified.

There are, or were, a number of videos on YouTube, of folks digging up skeletal remains from WWII, in Russia, and Ukraine. Some of them are basically grave robbers, others are fairly professional-- they sort the remains onto tarps with a human skeleton printed on it, then box them up individually, more or less, and send them to cemeteries for Soviet, or German, soldiers, as appropriate.

They find lots of rusted and corroded artifacts, but also intact boxes of belts of 8mm Mauser for MG34s/42s that look as if they would still feed.

It’s a common name that area is known by. It refers to Nazis and Soviets. It explains how their synergistic effect killed more than either would have alone. Anne Applebaum the neocon ahead with the phrase.
