Arkin had one of the dryest and funniest sense of humor of any actor of the era. Incredible timing and delivery.

One of my favorite actors. Loved him as the psychiatrist in Grosse Pointe Blank.

Saw that film as a 10 year old and loved it - saw it again 25 years later and loved it more.

He was a very funny man who created a lot of smiles during his time on earth.
I know little to nothing about his personal life or politics, but like all of us, he will be judged perfectly.
May he RIP.
To: Repealthe17thAmendment
He had an underrated part in Glengarry Glen Ross. Rest in peace.

Yes, he was very good in that movie. Come to think of it, I don’t remember him being bad in any movie.

One of my all-time favorite comedies.

Whoever wrote this article didn’t know Arkin’s career. Remembered for Little Miss Sunshine and not Catch 22? Crazy.
To: Repealthe17thAmendment
I remember him in Deadhead Miles (1971), a great old classic that A&E would often show back in the early ‘90s, lol.
