My teen niece has DS. There is no doubt raising a DS child can be a huge challenge, but she is also a a huge blessing. Yes, her arrival completely changed the lives of her parents and her two siblings, but they are an amazing and loving family. Aborting this child would also have changed the family, but in a completely different direction, away from God and possibly away from each other.

I was told 75% chance my child was downs from a blood test. I didn’t have anymore of the tests and my child was born perfectly normal.
