it’s krap ice cream ... always has been, even b4 unilever ... full of artificial thickeners so they can cheap-out on expensive cream content, as well as various other chemical additives ... compare B&J ice creams with Haagen Daz 5-ingredient ice creams ...
apparently, because people thought that hippies made B&J ice cream, it MUST be good ... NOT! ...

I hesitate to say this, but B&J learned to make ice cream at the Penn State University College of Dairy Science. That is why the quality is high. Lousy politics; great ice cream.

I am a bit confused here. Why would you boycott an ice cream brand these guys have sold to a multinational company or that company’s other products?

Ben & Jerries used to have dioxin in their ice cream.
Dioxin in ice cream sold for children to eat.
No safe limit and all that.
