Always take along a few healthy worms when you go to Subway. You can get lots of free food that way.

That looks like a maggot to me.

Once found a 2 inch roach in a can of rosarito tomales.
Didn’t eat it but the rest was fine.

I had always heard they would eat most anything.
Guess some are a bit pickier eaters?
Still, worm looks like the rest of the damn thing, whatever it is.

Tomatoes are actually allowed to contain a certain amount of maggots, according to the FDA.

what’s worse than finding a worm in your half eaten apple?
...finding a half of a worm in your half eaten apple.

Had a co-worker, years ago it was, found a dead bee formed inside a chunk of chocolate from a major manufacturer. Not Hershey or Nestle, but a well known name.

Subway should hire a few robins as sub inspectors. They'll find all the worms, and remove them for you.

Well, I’m impressed the headline doesn’t read like the asshat who failed the teacher’s exam.
Honestly, I’d have picked it out and dug back in, but I don’t do processed meats.

I noted a little green inchworm wriggling in a fruit cup while on a flight. Showed it to the flight attendant. She quickly replied, “You know it is fresh fruit!”

Aw, c’mon, that’s the best part! Like that fatty chunk of bacon in a can of baked beans!
