The difference with now is that in recent times there is recorded IR/UV/radar and etc., that can be verified vs multiple simultaneous observers, and reviewed after the fact.

This is a real phenomenon, and unexplained.

Pentagon UFO Chief?

That guy’s right up there with BoBo and the rest of the (not) Finding Bigfoot cast.

“What was that?!”

The best case for so called Unidentified Flying Objects I have come across was made by Dr. Steven Greer in an interview on the Shawn Ryan show. More or less indicating that a good portion of them are home grown or re-engineered by what you may call a shadow group loosely associated with some big US industrial companies. More or less representing something comparable to the early Ford Model T with certain capabilities such as the ability to cloaking as well defying the gravitational field and impressive speeds.

Yet still in the early stages like our radios and TV sets about sixty years ago where you had all kinds of tubes, capacitors, coils and resistors all mounted on a metal chassis until we approached the miniaturization and integration process along with the discovery of the transistor and everything eventually ended up in the configuration of chips something we only could have dreamed of sixty years earlier and so far we have not even scratched the surface.

Now keep in mind that civilizations from what you may call “Out there” have been at it for millennia’s and have been refining this to the N-th degree and probably have at their disposal things which we have not yet even dreamed about. And these, I believe make up the other and smaller portion of sightings of so called UFO’s Aside all this, if anything I believe that the real ones are harmless as if they wanted to harm us, due to their technological advances could have done so long time ago.

I would be more concerned about the home grown version as pointe out by Dr. Steven Greer who more or less are under the control of some war mongering entities. For more detailed info you may want to watch the presentation by Dr Steven Greer who has been researching this subject for over thirty years. I would suggest to watch this interview it ma answer some of your questions.

That's an emotional argument against witness testimony given to Congress under oath and significant sensor imagery (photo, video, radar) that has been admitted as genuine (whatever the images might show) by the Department of Defense.

Can you imagine in a court of law if the opposing attorney said against witness testimony given and such evidence mentioned above, "it's fictitious your honor, like lies you heard in high school.

The members of the jury and those in the court room would emit a loud, "tee-hee."

But the judge would probably not be laughing

The accusation of "jackassery" is a premise not an argument.

Your argument would lay out the reasons you believe the witness testimony yesterday was "jackassery."

What was presented yesterday was witness testimony under oath by 2 navy pilots (one of which was a Top Gun graduate and Squadron Commander) and witness testimony collected by an "investigating officer" regarding this subject by an intelligence official of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the NRO.

Now it's your turn. Your charge of "jackassery" might be valid. What is your argument in defense of that premise?

As you and I have seen over and over again in these UFO threads (and it's well-represented in the comments on this thread), posters make a claim or present a premise, but they don't present any arguments why their claim/premise is true.

Claims of "Squirrel," "Distraction," "Hogwash," "Jackassery," "Shiny Object" may all be true, but making a claim (i.e., stating a premise) is only the beginning.

The person making that claim then needs to explain to us "why" that claim or premise should be accepted as true.

Oddly, that never happens.;-)

It's the equivalent of a person sitting in the back row of a courtroom at a murder trial yelling out, "My boy's a good boy, he couldn't kill a fly."

Except here we have Freepers sitting in the back row yelling out, "Shiny Object!"

You’re on the wrong site to think of any proper discussion on anything.

That’s your problem, GTFO off FR and find a sane place.

I’m only half joking. This place has never been a good site to discuss serious things.

You want your Trump loving above all, Desantis bashing, Russia loving, old 80 year olds opinions, that’s FR.

Well, that's OK.

Just hang in there and stay on FR.

One day all this will be yours!!! That is, when you are old and cranky and closed-minded.;-)

On a serious note, people forget that there are a lot of folks who just lurk. They read the comments and take note of those comments that include good arguments. Even Rush used to scan FR to see what serious Freepers were saying and thinking.

There's always been a lot of chaff and very little wheat. But the wheat is worth wading through the chaff. Just ignore the stupid/silly comments...or tease the folks who make them.

Yeah, FR has Rush, David, Tony Snow, and even some others. That woman that died on 9/11 that was a minor reporter.

This site could’ve been something else. But nope.

As I said, wheat vs chaff. There’s still some wheat here, but you have to look very closely to find it.

Even 5 years ago maybe, but JR and bukakke have killed all new users and it’s dead.

You got people from pre-2005 signups and everyone else is a noob. It’s a screwed site, thanks to JR’s paranoia and whoever has been advising him (delta and bukakke)
