Dear Lord this is depraved! Just stunned by the evil!
they ignored the “Do No Harm” all through Covid too- 10’s of 1000’s died because of the lies of the medical community and the direct actions by thje medical community in sending sick peopel into nursing homes etc to kill off the nation’s most vulnerable citizens- not to mention that many previously healthy people now have heart problems and clot problems as well
Also, the baby’s shoulders were stuck. The dr broke the bones in the neck, face, and skull trying to manipulate the baby out of the birth canal. After a couple of hours of that, they finally took her to have the c- section. That’s when they saw the body was detached from the head.
This is a horrible situation. Then to lie to the couple and proceed to cover it up. The suit says more than 10k. I’m sure it will be A LOT more.
Very disturbing.
I had a relative delivered using forceps. The OBGYN punctured her skull with the forceps. She survived into her 30s but so damaged she was never able to learn to talk and had seizures. Lived at home and her family cared for her.
I assume it’s the same there as in CA, the complaint recites that the amount sought is in excess of the jurisdictional threshold of the court. Indeed in CA, it’s not allowed for the complaint to state the amount of personal injury damages sought in the complaint. This thing you hear so often that A is suing B for 100 million is a federal pleading thing, and those numbers are purely pulled right out of the air
Here's your baby (some assembly required)...
Agree!
That isn’t even an issue here. The child was stuck and the section should have been done right away.
I had the same reaction and same dollar figure. Thry need a new lawyer.
Forceps would have crushed the baby’s head if it was stuck.
Perhaps not.
The baby's heart beat is monitored during delivery.
So they would have known if the baby had died.
Unless they were stupidly negligent.
Yeah.
It’s the lying about it and covering it up that is in question.
Forceps can crush a babys head. They don’t even use them now. My husband is blind in one eye because he had a huge head and they crunched down on it to get him out. Besides with the shoulders delivered it was too late for forceps.
That would explain the low amount asked in the lawsuit
````````````````````````````````````````
“More than $10,000” is not a low amount. With that vague terminology, they could be asking millions, billions, trillions etc.
Horrific!!!!!!!
Are you the doctor on sight? If not then you don’t know jack. What you know is what the woman reports which may not be accurate
My daughter was delivered by forceps
She didn’t have a mark on her
She had a military doctor…..well trained
I was born in a military hospital. Despite mom’s records saying c-section only, they went for vaginal delivery. It was a long hard difficult process, resulting in a blue non-responsive baby. They rushed me out of the room and did whatever voodoo that they do and after entirely too long got me started and brought me back to mom, handed me to her and say he’s OK now, if anything goes wrong it’s your fault!
(I turned out OK, no apparent DainBramage)
I’ve had some superb military doctors, this crew wasn’t them.
When I was a teenager the dispensary at El Toro lost my medical records, THIRTEEN TIMES in a row...
