The deaths of children and tourists is of no concern to the Democrats in Hawaii. But the deaths of people in the nursing homes and the homeless is troubling. They vote Democrat.
This is a terrible tragedy. Almost unimaginable. On the scale of 9-11 and it appears that it was caused by malfeasance of the State officials and democrat policies.
That is why there is so little coverage and why drone footage is blocked. The state officials are deflecting blame. The mainland leftist media & political class don’t want people to make the connections between inept management and irrational policies and their consequence.
******g bastards. It all boils down to a mass crime against humanity. All they're doing now is arguing amongst themselves how to get their story straight, like "center fuel tank" or some hsit like that.
Maybe some of those Hawaiians who have always voted straight D are beginning to contemplate a change of some kind... Not that the R's inspire a whole lot of confidence either...

These are the harsh conseqences of putting lunatic Democrats in power. Coerced green energy fantasies and woke land management policies were the underlying cause of this disaster. Sorry but the people of Hawaii have avidly embraced the Democrats and their agenda. Suffering comes with their choices.

The tragic fact is that searchers are no longer looking for bodies but should be sifting ashes for bones.
They may never have an accurate figure for the number of deaths, and the ‘missing’ will forever be rooted purely in conjecture.

How are elementary school children put onto buses and sent home alone on an unscheduled basis without prior arrangements having been made and without texting the parents? Is a kindergartner expected to walk home from the bus stop alone and then somehow enter a presumably locked house? Is that what the official story is? (Or were the parents texted according to some SOP and then just stayed at work anyway? Hundreds of them?) Or were the children burned to death within the school, in which case one would have expected the fire department to have made defense of the school their very top priority and indeed to have gone down fighting. The missing children aspect of this raises lots of questions. And BTW, if hundreds of schoolchildren are dead, this dwarfs all the school shootings in American history combined so you would think it would be banner headlines each day. But it is not, not even close.

Horrible stories and leftists go together like stink and sewage.
We do know from some of the people that they were forced into the ocean and that between the time they enter and their rescue many many hours later, many were gone - all of the babies certainly.
Perhaps the kids also went into the water, were they too were hit with burning debris and thick smoke - killing them all?

There was a landslide of waste from a coal mine. Most of the town was spared, but the school was.
