We all grew up with Looney Tunes and Bob Barker on the TV. RIP.
Oh, and don’t forget to spay or neuter your pets.

The original
The Price Is Right host was Bill Cullen, who had severe polio and was always shown stationary or seated during the broadcasts.
I can't recall any other game show host who was disabled like Cullen was.

“when he was complaining to us about a bad foot he was dealing with. We chopped it up with him ... “
Wow. What a sport to allow a foot to be chopped up. He took it in stride.

“In high school, at the age of 15, Barker met and fell in love with his future wife, Dorothy Jo Gideon. Their first date was on Nov. 17, 1939, when he took her to see an Ella Fitzgerald concert. Barker said they “were never separated from then on” – until her death in 1981 from lung cancer.” Married to the same woman, his only love and never remarried after her death.

After the Happy Gilmore appearance, I hoped Bob would follow Leslie Nielsen down the path of career-changing lowbrow comedy. Alas, he did not - but he definitely had the knack for it.

"And didn’t he boink them as well?" Yeah. He was having it on with the blond girl.
Can't recall her name though. She later sued him
for sexual harassment or something like that. Bob
always had some really attractive women working for
him. I grew up on that show. And I remember watching
the Truth or Consequences show too, but I don't remember
what it was about.

My sister was a contestant on The Price Is Right in the 1980s and won about $3000 in prizes. She said the other contestant was so nervous she vomited in a glass of water.
