Oh I wasn’t wearing masks on the recent flights.

So let’s all get risky, untested vaccines and booster shots immediately before someone comes down with the sniffles or something.

you probably can’t learn, maybe others can.

do yourself a favor and use a nose spray or swab on flights or in other public places.

i make my own povidone iodone swab. works great, and keeps it moist when i’m dry.

Doctors admit they can't tell Covid apart from allergies or the common cold

And they never could.

"Masks suck but there’s some benefit to them on airplanes."

Yet for decades, we all flew on planes and no one wore a mask. How ever did we survive?!

Um... with a simple antigen test, one can tell the difference. With a PCR test, the diagnosis is definite.

No, no one can tell the difference between any number of ailments without laboratory testing. With laboratory testing, everything becomes clear.

I had it a month ago. Started with a typical sore throat. Never ran a fever, never had any chest congestion, no runny nose and no cough. My first clue was complete loss of sense of smell and taste greatly diminished. Then just flu-like muscle aches and malaise. Got over the “bad” part in a week, the malaise and general ashiness lasted another ten days. I think sense of smell is still somewhat diminished. No hospitalization; went to Urgent Care for a confirmation of the home test. Doc gave me Paxlovid at Day 5 or 6 after first onset of sore throat. He thought I was too late for it to be efficacious. Not sure if it helped or not. My wife got sick at the same time and took a bit longer to clear, so maybe the Pax did help.
