Oh. I see the fake quote from Benjamin Franklin circulated by fascists, taken up in Ezra Pound’s Cantos, too. He never said that.
The degree to which people try to define Jews and Judaism is in direct proportion to their ignorance of and/or antipathy to Jews.
Go do you, cowboyusa. Whatever you are.
Ever hear of Ancient Israel?
Since you like playing stupid - people like YOU - who’ve spent the better part of a century positing an incomplete and highly distorted history of what led up to the Germans smashing up Europe.
Oh wait... *and* people like YOU: Foreign mystery-meat posters coming to FR with an agenda.
“Christianity and Judaism are nearly polar opposites.”
Not really. Jews do not believe Jesus was the messiah, but both are rooted in the same singular God and of the Old Testament.
Jesus preached for everyone to reject the high priests of the Jewish world that had become a government and turn to worshiping God and following his word. For that, the priests wanted him dead and got it. Rome really didn’t care until the priests made them care.
So ... I guess this thread turned out not to be about Hitler after all ...
>> Why is there a FReeper posting large amounts of Nazi
>> propaganda on this website?
Sigh.
FR used to be a lot like that in its infancy, prior to 2000’s. There were open neo-Nazis under the handles of infamous 3rd reich figures.
Then it got cleaned up alot after 9.11 Some have been retreads under different handles, biding their time. And some are more recent.
Some paleoconservatives have been so demoralized by the events of the past several years, they have gone to blaming traditional targets of the paleo-Right and are channeling Revilo P Oliver.
Apparently they think A.H. was the last great defender of the White People.
Look at Buddhism or Hinduism or Taoism or Confucianism or Shinto or animism if you're looking an opposite to the Western monotheisms.
Sanger openly advocated the eradication of non-white races and in particular blacks. She was an ardent eugenicist and to her birth control and abortion were just means to an end.
“Lumping her in with Hitler and Mao might need some mass murder evidence.”
How many children were murdered by abortion? 100+ million.
>> Ever hear of Ancient Israel?
But its anathema to the racialists and ethno-nationalists to cede any kind of spiritual primacy to the Semites, particularly Jews, on any matter.
Even if they want a version of Christianity, they want a Völkisch, de-Judaized one. Sort of like the 3rd Reich elites wanted to keep for the German masses, while the upper circles toyed with the Nordic and Germanic neo-paganism.
There is a term for that in WP and alt-right circles, that I encountered, “Japhethic Christianity”. They try to de-emphasize the Semitic roots.
Of course the most radical say the religion of Abraham is totally alien to Evropa and embrace some version neo-paganism.
There is no proof of personal depravity and people are just making stuff up to get attention. You don’t understand modern history and how many sources have to align befire credibility is attained. Until that happens it’s all garbage.
I do happen to be something of an expert on the Third Reich. If credibility is attained regarding Hitler and these endless silly sexual theories, I’ll let you know. Now go back to watching Batman vs Superman.
“How many children were murdered by abortion? 100+ million.”
You’d have a point if you can find Sanger promoting abortion. From what I’ve seen she didn’t. She mentions abortion in a 1914 pamphlet “Family Limitation” and within a year complains “No one doubts my views on the subject. Mainly because I have so strenuously attacked the abortionists & the Government for creating them.”
It’s fairly easy to find Sanger arguing that legalizing contraceptives, something she did campaign for, would stop women from seeking abortions. An odd argument for an abortion fan, unless she wasn’t one.
That idea that Sanger promoted abortion appears to be an “everbody knows” claim for which no one can actually produce the evidence.
NYU has a collection of Sanger papers. This is what they have to say about people who attempt to enlist Sanger on either side of the abortion issue:
“From our unique vantage point we have observed that many who write with confidence about Sanger are insecure and confused when assessing her views on this most heated of all culture war issues.
“Some reproductive rights proponents seem uncomfortable with Sanger’s often strong language condemning the practice of abortion. Others suggest that she had to be circumspect because of widespread public disapproval of abortion and the potential for legal trouble (abortion did not become legal until seven years after her death).
“Those on the other side of the debate, who charge Sanger with instigating a holocaust of the unborn, struggle to explain passages in her writings that appear to echo their own sentiments; some have gone so far as to suggest that Sanger orchestrated a masterful subterfuge— nary a seam detected in her sheep’s clothing.”
“Once again the failure to read widely and try to understand Sanger within the context of her time has exposed the historical myopia of Sanger’s critics as well as some of her admirers. Even more maddening is the common practice of making broad assumptions about Sanger’s position on abortion based on a single quotation, such as her declaration in the first issue of the Woman Rebel that women have “The Right to destroy,” or her later comment that she had “always condemned abortion as dangerous and inhuman.” Sanger’s views on abortion, like her views on other issues surrounding sexual expression and reproductive control, were complex and impossible to pigeonhole. “
You can find plenty of her comments here:

“His actual proclivities are the subject of dispute, and you have no more factual knowledge than anyone else who didn’t know him personally.”
IIRC William Shirer interviewed a lot of people who had known personally, going back to his childhood. The opening chapters of “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” have a lot of that.
The only women Hitler appears to have been involved with were his niece Geli Raubal and then later Eva Braun. toddausauras’ characterization of Hitler as a prude fits what is known about him. Even his fellow soldiers in WWI considered him an oddball.
Norm Macdonald
Well, in this video they uncover one show girl with whom he was involved. She claimed that he begged her to kick him, and became increasingly aroused when she did and demanded she continue.
Like I said, He’s Dead/She’s Dead.
“Simon Whistler, the guy who runs all these channels like Infographics, doesn’t really know that much. He has an assistant and AI that ‘researches’ everything for him and writes it up, then he just reads it like an average newsreader on TV.”
OK. It’s good research, and it’s presented well.
“He’s also anti-Trump”
When that is relevant to the subject, it’s to be borne in mind. His attitude towards, Trump, however, is not relevant to the personal, pre-evil-dictator biography of Hitler.
I didn’t know he had a nephew who turned against him, or that he was a dutiful son to his dying mother, or that there was evidence he was hetero but masochistic. It’s all very interesting.
