I just get a sick feeling everytime I see headlines about search efforts on these cases knowing that most all are already dead.
And a feeling that despite many good people that the darkness of acts like these is winning. Not the goodness. Gloomy.
Shoplifting. Looting. Abortion.
Grooming. Our former President being subjected to lawfare torment designed to ruin him and make hom die on prison. How does this ever get solved by the ballot box?

I hope that this is one of those stories where she is found 10 miles away in a field with not a scratch on her and is happy and says that a bear carried her there.
There was a recent story of the child that was found in a shed some miles away from his house when he wandered off down a trail in the woods. Several days later iirc. He ducked into the shed to get out of the rain. I forget why he never left the shed to go to the adjacent house to get help.
There was a case in Florida several years ago where a little kid was found on an island in a swamp clean and dry. He said a bear with hands carried him there.
I am not going to assume -- yet -- that she was abducted. Although black bear attacks are relatively rare, they do happen. Same with coyote attacks (NY coyotes are a wolf/coyote hybrid). And while the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation claims that wild cats no longer inhabit NY, many people in rural areas claim otherwise.

I just reviewed the map of the area around Loop A. There’s not many directions to go that will get you truly lost. A lost child normally will head uphill (lost adults downhill), uphill goes to the interstate. With the discovery of the bike, I fear an abduction.
All three. Mostly bear. Sleeping in the RV there two weeks ago we could hear the coyotes screaming at night. A little different from the coyotes in CA.
