That’s the difference in a regular Joe and say a Bill Gates, Nicole Kidman or Thomas Jefferson. Or the same difference in a regular Joe and a high level Down syndrome sufferer.
I will say though that different studies access the same people with various results. IQ can also change slightly day to day based on a persons health etc.
Still all in all I think it’s the best measure of a persons/people ability.

US had 2000 people killed and some building destroyed and we invaded and held a country for 20 years, imagine 5000 rockets coming from Mexico or Canada, would we show restraint?
Israel is basically surrounded by enemies, and their “friends” for the most part are not much better.
Pipes sent by UN for water infrastructure made into rockets, other Arab countries don’t want Palestinians. If you are of Palestinian descent and live in any of these countries you are at best second class citizens.

After working in the ME for years, I wouldn’t disagree with this study for people 30 and above, but this isn’t a fair representation of the below 25-year-old Arab.
When I started instructing students in Saudi, I was in a meeting with my British employer and advised that the student body had an average IQ below 90. Also, most have never read a book other than the Quran. I disregarded this as being BS, but quickly realized it was true.
The curriculum was watered down much like our US’s, and this just re-enforced the or continued to limit the IQ levels of the students.
MBS, the Crown Prince, abandoned the old American and British curriculum and instituted a curriculum that increased the basic learning and standards of Saudi Arabian education.
Now, many of the Saudi students are either equal or have passed the American student the areas of math, science and even in the English language. Same in the UAE.
You cannot forget how religion has limited the progress of students in increasing their IQ’s and basic knowledge in the ME.
Speaking of Palestinians, as with some of the ethnic groups in the US, education is seen as a White Man or a Colonial evil. Learning anything other than the Quran is considered harum or evil by some, same as in the US.
Fact based or formal Education is bad, and it has no place in the world. Hate is a much easier concept to teach than math, science and language skills.
It is much easier to control people who have a limited IQ and very little cognitive skills. The Klan, BLM, and post-Modernist, Jihadists, ISIS, Hamas, and other hate groups depend on and have designed systems to limit the populations’ abilities.
There are US states where the average IQ is 95-96(NM, MS, LA, NV, AL).
There are only a few states where the average IQ is over 102(MN, VT, MA, NH)
NH is the highest in the country according to a recent article in PsychCentral.
So, I will be the person to say it. It depends how many Native Americans, African Americans and Hispanics are in your state. So, many of the places on Indian Reservations and the Deep South(US) are not much better than Gaza.
The country with the highest IQ is Japan.

USA is 100, Japan is 105. Not a huge difference. The difference between 85 and 100 is astounding.
The problem with most of the Muslim nations is that they are illiterate. When you can not read or write your IQ score decreases. Islam perpetuates this by not allowing their women to be educated above the grade school level. They are one set above goats and sheep. Probably comparable to their camel in value to their owner/husband.
So, you have 50%(women) of your population in most of these Muslim countries that are NOT allowed to be educated.
And Palestinians marry their 1st cousin. Islam is the only culture that allows that.
