There’ll be a lot of that played in the Olympic Village (probably by flag football players) but it won’t be broadcast. Yet.

I haven’t watched for a few days, but they’re playing ODI and the stadiums have been mostly empty. I did see one match where India was playing, and they had a good crowd. But ODI takes too long for me; I only watch the highlights.
Will you be attending games in the Metroplex next summer?

I have to say, I am an Olympics fan. However, after this next time in Paris, if they even have it, I’m beginning to wonder if the Olympics are ever going to be played again.

I hope to, I have a few Indian friends that I would go with. They are just happy that there’s one American who can talk to them about Cricket.

What do they call the event where men pretending to be women set all the new “women’s” world records?

How about ultimate frizbee? Or was that added already?
Maybe miniature golf should be considered too.

Seems like this ought to be a more prominent part of the story:
Boxing, modern pentathlon – where athletes compete in fencing, swimming, equestrian show jumping, pistol shooting and cross-country running – and weight lifting were also considered but did not make the cut for the 2028 games.

I don’t want to see what the flag football teams look like. :/

Up to 90 countries are now members of World Lacrosse, including 15 in Africa. I run a website for the sport.

It is. My daughters played in the world games last year in Maryland against Mexico, Argentina, Italy, Latvia. China even had a team. Korea had a team. Lacrosse is the fastest growing girls sport in the US but it is catching on all over the world. US, Canada, Australia and England maybe the best womens teams

Thanks. And nice!
As I like to say, lacrosse has everything soccer doesn’t have. Contact, scoring, and it requires opposable thumbs.

For me, it was allowing professionals to participate.
I am well aware that, for the Soviets, East Germans, and Communist Chinese, it was always professionals competing from their countries, but...it just lost all the magic when we did it too.

About 20 million people participate in flag football at the elite level.
If your group/level has 20MM members, that doesn't exactly say 'elite'...
Four sports were added to the upcoming Paris games: Surfing, skateboarding, breaking and sport climbing.
Surfing, dumb. Skateboarding? Meh. Breaking...? Breaking what? How is that a sport? And sport climbing? Are you graded on how subjectively gracefully you climb the fake rock wall?
