The Palestine apologists think Israel should be eliminated. That is what would satisy them. It is wrong headed to suggest that Israel should sacrifice it’s future to appease their sworn enemies. Appeasement is the prelude to the next attack.

Secretly I think the Saudis, Jordanians and Saudis hope Israel crushes Hamas...they can’t say that publicly of course. MacGregor reminds me physically of Gore Vidal and seems to be channeling the guy. Frankly his predictions have come up short repeatedly...Russia was going to win this 18 months ago, blah, blah, blah, and it’s grinding on.

People said the exact same thing about Trump moving the embassy to Jerusalem. There were going to be riots in the streets, it was going to be a foreign policy disaster. Muslims from Indonesia to Morocco would rise up. What happened? Nothing.
Middle East respects strength, and preys on weakness. Stopping is weakness, crushing Hamas is strength. Israel has to go in for their survival.
The US could have destroyed the Taliban and VC if it was allowed to fight with the rules we had in WWII. Once politicians and defense contractors were given control there was no winning.
Let the Islamic world get upset. Israel has nuclear weapons. Checkmate.

The world is a scary place and there are no perfect solutions. There are consequences in each choice even in doing nothing. The choice Israel is making is to live. They can not live with such evil on their borders. If the world does not sttrike back forcefully against Muslim terrorists wherever they commit terrorist acts we will be engulfed across the globe.
Why do you think Muslim young men are arriving in the US by the thousands through Joe Biden’s border? They think people like McGregor and corrupt bought Biden will urge restraint so they can destroy America before the people are unified in action.

I can totally understand their need to destroy Hamas once and for all times, even it if means a blood bath in Gaza.
Yes, one can talk about Muslims from the streets of Detroit, to Morocco, to former Soviet satellite states and all around the Middle East opposing Israel, but the October 7th barbarian attack by Hamas started a long simmering blood feud that can not be negotiated away as long as Hamas has military weapons, a base from which to conduct terrorist raids, and a goal of wiping Israel off the face of the map. Hamas does not want a two-state solution.....they want a No-Israel solution.
When have they ever over done it? If they had there wouldn’t be a Palestinian problem

I know Israel must destroy Hamas. I think Hamas set a trap and provided unprecedented horror in order to have Israel fight Hamas at a time Hamas has brokered support - so this would be a fight on Hama’s terms.
Hamas will kill Israelis in an unending stream if not destroyed; I think Hamas built a ‘team’ and wants ISrael to fight.
Israel’s plan must be different than expected. Right now the fight is designed by Hamas to serve Hamas’ purposes. SOMEHOW Israel has to avoid the ‘team’ trap Hamas and friends have set, and at a time/place/manner unanticipated, must destroy Hamas.
I think Macgregor could have said it better (e.g., lose the’ save Israel from itself’ as it’s wrong) but I think he wants Israel to fight on Israel’s terms. It would do zero good if Macgregor floated ideas about how Israel is to do this - the element of surprise is needed. Maybe Israel IS privately enacting her own plan, and making the world think she is approaching Hamas on Hamas’ terms. Won’t know until it unfolds.
So I think Macgregor is in the ‘yes, kill Hamas, but not on their terms’ camp. We shall see.
