I thought DiCaprio did a great job in The Departed.
I have not seen Flower Moon, but my favorite reviewer The Critical Drinker gave a fair-to-middling review with the main knock against it being it was about an hour too long.
Spoiler alert: DiCaprio and De Niro are the villains in this tale. And having read the book I just don't see how you make a three-and-a-half hour movie of it.
For some reason I can’t articulate I never liked DiCaprio. Or Ben Afflack. If they’re in the movie I usually pass.
I did read that the girl who stars in it is the granddaughter of Will Sampson who was in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.
bottom line:
budget: $200m
total box office after 10 days in release (US+Intl): $85
Reminds me of Heaven’s Gate (1980) with a then enormous budget of $44m and a (US+Intl) b.o. of $3.5m.
Well, based on actual events.... A lot of whites flocked to Osage County to take advantage of the riches the Osage people reaped, as they had the foresight to retain mineral rights to their land.
It is sad to see him turn into or come out of the closet as a little rat man. Someone should give him some cheese and send him to the actor's retirement home to hang out with the other old rats.
Seemed interesting until I saw Deniro’s and Decaprio’s mugs on the trailer. Hard pass from me.
It’s put out to contend for oscars.
The feel-good story of the day!
Yes, DiCaprio and DeNero (sic) already have theirs................
That was the main complaint on most of the reviews: WAAAY too long. Since the storyline is known, they took too long to develop the characters................
Good. I’d love to punch DeNero in the face.
Well, just about all Hollywood idiots are liberal, so it is hard to watch most of them, if we think of their political statements.
How the mighty have fallen.
I had a free 3 months on Apple TV.
What a bunch of WOKE programming.
Only two shows worth watching.
Greyhound and Supermodels.
Its unbelievable how much the butchered “Foundation”
I like Apple phones and computers but their programming makes Disney look like Nixon.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.
THAT is the problem....................
You’ve got that right; I can hardly stand to watch either one of them.
In this case, it’s true. Not going to see the movie, but whites did absolutely rob the Osage blind, not to mention kill them, to get their oil wealth and head rights.
DeNiro is on my no watch list.
>>> Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.
THAT is the problem....................<<<
TOTALLY AGREE with you! I refuse to watch either one of those duds.
DeNiro miscast as early 1900s Okie power broker mass murderer
DiCaprio I can take or leave, but I cannot watch DeNero (sic) any more..................... I used to look for his movies on the Direct TV DVR schedule. Now I avoid them like a plague.............
