So, what do the police call this?
A plane crash or a car wreck?
Insurance companies don’t usually cover plane crashes............................

“attempted an emergency landing”
“ATTEMPTED”? Nope, the pilot MADE an emergency landing. “Attempt” ended when the tires hit the tarmac.
Authoress Mackenzie Tatananni flunked The Queen’s English?
Imagine the driver of the car calling his wife or her husband or mom & dad — “I’ve got some bad news. I was just in an accident. Yeah, the other ‘driver’ is OK and I’m ok.”

Those are real slippery and fast airplanes, not easy to slow down. the ones we have here at KWHP fly a box pattern at pattern altitude to lose their airspeed when coming in from the pass.

It is unclear what caused the plane to overshoot, but its pilot was seen climbing out of the wrecked aircraft and kicking it in frustration after. Curses! Airfoiled again.

It’s a good landing. Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.

I used to ride my bicycle on that road, FM 546. Looks like the runway has been extended. Too busy to ride on now

?????
The plane was most likely insured for at least liability, and the car owner’s insurance would cover any uninsured damage to the car. I’ve never seen anything in any of my automobile policies that excluded damage by aircraft.

Some possible Exclusions:
Aircraft insurance policies typically exclude coverage for intentional acts or criminal activities, such as using the aircraft to transport illegal goods or intentionally causing damage.
Some policies may exclude coverage for certain types of damage or loss, such as wear and tear or mechanical breakdown.
Pilot error: Some policies may exclude coverage for damages or losses caused by pilot error or negligence. War or acts of terrorism may also be excluded from coverage.
