"The next severe pandemic will not only cause great illness and loss of life but could also trigger major cascading economic and societal consequences that could contribute greatly to global impact and suffering."
The mortality rate for the last "cases are surging" was estimated to have been 3.4% per year, but after three full years the actual mortality rate according to only officially recognized numbers was 0.1% over the entire period.
Surging.
That’s the flu map, FYI
It is listed in Pzier data to be caused by their Covid vaccine
well, blame China for the panic
A number of Nations have moved to high health alerts already.
I know, but China didn’t get Pfizer.
they had their own vaccine at the time.
Doesn’t mean that what we are seeing outside of China is the same issue.
Vitamin A and mystery pneumonia
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIo8rtpD_LM
Is it weird? Or can it be explained?
Poor kids in Asian countries suffering Vitamin A deficiency?
Asian parents of kids in California, who I would think are not poor, making sure they get enough fruits and veggies and other good food?
Single black mothers in the South not making sure their kids get enough fruits and veggies and other good food?
Or white, Liberal Karen moms (because there are some in the South too) making sure their kids get every Covid vaxseem possible?
Northern China as in Beijing area?
Or provinces near Mongolia, Russia, and the Stans?
Because the one area is poor (and full of some ethnic groups the Chinese would not be sad to lose) and the other not so much.
That map Connects “Sweden” to the country of Finland.
That made me LOL out loud.
Sadly, this isn’t the middle ages... Banning travel between states isn’t an option. That’s one thing that Covid did prove. Banning travel (and they did in Australia) won’t save you... The pied piper eventually plays his tune. If there is some sort of respiratory disease out there, it will spread and those who are susceptible will get it.
The spread of the Spanish flu was a result of boat travel... So in an age of jet travel by commercial, passenger and private jets... The idea that you can contain a disease by banning travel is pure nonsense.
Find treatments to deal with the disease... We deal with pneumonia, flu and other respiratory disease yearly... Take the treatments for those diseases and apply it to this new respiratory disease... That’s the smartest way to confront it.
And don’t lockdown the healthy to save those who will catch and possibly die from this disease. That’s a sure way to destroy our economy and ruin our society... Another lesson learned from the insane panic related to Covid.
The Spanish flu killed 3 to 5% of the worlds population... On the high end that’s about 400 million people in todays population of 8 billion. As bad as it was we survived it.
The idea that it won’t eventually happen again is foolishness... It will and when it does we will know it and dealing with it by destroying our society and economy is not the answer.
Myco is not a new disease it comes around every few years. It is better known as Walking Pneumonia and is relatively mild and goes away in a couple of weeks for adults, it is harder to get rid of if you are very young or have other conditions.
We are not in disagreement.
I merely observe that the Covid pandemic played out this way. This sounds like the overture to the first act of the show already seen.
Oh hell I had walking pneumonia once in 1999 not fun but curable
It’s not mysterious.
It’s widespread Mycoplasma infection, possibly with acquired resistance to azithromycin.
