Steven Spielberg is someone whose work I have largely enjoyed because it resonates with me, but his Leftism is repulsive to me. I re-watched a movie, “Munich” that he made about the 1972 massacre at the Olympics, and it really bugged me the way he made it.

It was basically a total plagiarization of the movie "Sword of Gideon".

Intermittent Fasting and a Ketogenic Diet are much more effective and safer.

She looks unatural...her face looks alien

As does Gayle King they are both "using" the same drugs no doubt.

I liked some parts of it, but I HATED the moral equivalence that he drew in it, that hunting down and killing the murderers is just as morally bad as what the murderers did.

Well, he IS a Leftist, sooo...plagarism is just one of the tools in his box.

That said, is “Sword of Gideon” worth watching?

Eh. Okay, don’t think I will watch it then.

By the way, do I recall correctly that you were recommending the “World At War” series on another thread recently?

If so, you were spot on. I have never seen it, and it sure has a lot of detail and depth to it, footage I have never seen. It is so good, my wife is even watching it with me. That said, I had to take a break and stop watching for a few days.

Mentally, it is difficult to watch with things possibly approaching us that will be even worse on a larger scale.

But anyway, if you were the one recommending it, thanks.

It could be, my point is just that processing techniques for Black hair have greatly improved. I have friends who use them, and someone seeing ‘before and after’ would probably think it was a wig, extensions, etc.

Yes, I despise his politics too. I never saw the movie Munich. I remember it well and had no desire to relive it.

The footage on the concentration camps is the best

I can’t say I am “looking forward to it”, but I am curious. One of the coolest things is watching this “World at War” series, and seeing so much footage I have never seen before.

Not all of it is fun to watch, either. But it is fascinating. And the level of detail is phenomenal.

My wife does not have the interest I have in military history, but she has been watching the series interactively and also finds it fascinating.

I am interested, because even though I have always thought I have seen a lot of imagery from that time, including the Holocaust, I feel like I have seen all available.

But I know I haven’t. I think of the people who were horrified and physically nauseated watching footage of the Holocaust back in 1945 when it became available, and I wonder if I am going to see imagery that is new to me.

Not that I want to be bugged out by it, but I wonder, after all these years, what it will evoke in me if I see imagery I never have before.

Because I sure have seen new things (to me) in this series.

Some years ago, my wife and I had dinner in Boston at The Cafe Budapest, whose owner was a woman who survived the Holocaust.

If I recall correctly, the night we were there, she was dressed in a sky blue satin gown, and came to each table to say hello. Someone told me she did that every night.

Dang. Long time ago.
