Like Budweiser, I can’t boycott what I never bought to begin with. Still, I think calling for a boycott of the current biggest pop star in the world is a fool’s errand.

Both "people" are just awful, for different reasons. But for me, I find Jackson's talent to be 10x what swift has.
Perhaps, but I think the media made more of it than what it was. "Entertainers" tend to be very Left of Center because there lives will never change due to their incredible wealth so they simply cannot relate to the consequences of Leftist thought and governance.
Only idiots are keeping her in the big bucks. She’s puts out an album of Kindergarten Rock. As soon as it has sold all the copies it’s going to sell, she puts out a “remake” of the same album and the idiots scarf them up. Swuft fans aren’t very Swift. Great post. I’m not a fan of her music either, but this gal is smart as a whip. From the beginning she’s been 100% in charge of her concerts and nothing gets past her without approval. No nudity, twerking, etc. in her shows. She’s a GREAT businessman and worth over a billion dollars now. She was raised a Christian and has wavered to the left but, besides spouting leftist drivel, she’s maintained a basically lady like demeanor. She’s also great to her fans and employees.
Her parents handled her in the beginning. Who knows since then. It’s hard to stay the same person, with all the offers and with time, it’s easier to capitulate.

Yes I recall the era when songs had a message or a story that could be easily understood. And the instrumentation was just awesome! That would be my era of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. That would be Rock, MoTown and of course Country, but lets not forget pop music such as Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin and a few others. The mix to listen to was just plentiful. There were even a few Blues songs we enjoyed as kids.
Go back to earlier times, the big band era, and the music then was awesome.
I agree, what we have today is basically noise to the same beat. And with Swift she’s just some little half naked puke up there to look at that’s intellectually and morally bankrupt.
Taylor Swift has become nothing more than the latest pawn in the demonrat playbook.
If my kids were still young, I would explain to them that she is a tool of the left and not very talented.

A different time in a different world. Most people went to church in those days. Today they have no God so naturally they naturally make idols of popular people. Even then lots of people made idols of John Lennon and other entertainers.
Sad that Israel’s right to exist and defend itself is even a debate, but here we are. A lot of Taylor Swift’s fans either don’t care or agree with Hamas’s position. Pick your battles but recognize that losing weakens the cause.
Just for that, I’ll never again spend money on Taylor Swift... or start doing so.
Obviously I don’t know her personally, however there is no way you can objectively look at her career and come to the conclusion she’s just some gal that is a, or is acting the bimbo like some want to say she is here.
There are plenty of examples of self absorbed folks in entertainment who walk around with holier and better than thou attitudes, plenty of arrogant jackasses who think they know better etc. She is not a name that comes to mind when thinking of such folks.

The best thing to ever happen to MJ’s heirs is when he passed. Now that MJ is not around to blow his money, his estate increases its net worth every year by tens of millions. Due to being managed by two very savvy HollyWeird lawyers.
