Actually, you might want to do some research on why she has re-released her earlier works... There is a very astute reason she has been doing it... Has nothing to do with “sold all the copies its going to sell.”

As someone who grew up in the 80s, I’ll take Taylor Swift, particularly her earlier work over ANYTHING Madonna ever did... Madonna was more about shock and sexualization than anything. Had MTV not existed, Madonna would have been canned after her first album.
I Know I was in the minority as a teen boy in the 80s, but I NEVER EVER found Madonna all that attractive either.
Swift herself is estimated to have made over $4 BILLION on her last tour alone.. and that doesn’t include the money she made from the movie of the tour.
Those that call this woman a Bimbo are showing their complete ignorance.

Ms Swift has had good management, she was probably told to stay out of politics, she may learn very quickly to heed that advice.

I can honestly say I’ve never heard the girl sing.
I don’t do remakes. Bryan Adams is claiming she “inspired” him to remake all his music. We’ll see how he does. LOL. The majority of people I know won’t buy remakes of the originals.
I can’t name a single song by her. Or many others.
We watch The Masked Singer TV show and even when they unmask the singers I still don’t know who they are................

I’m sorry...I cannot think of ONE Taylor Swift song to sing or hum while I’m cleaning.

Obviously Taylor Swifts parents have been a major influence on her life and career. They moved from PA to Nashville when she was a teenager for HER career.
I am not a Taylor Swift fan. Although I could tell she was going to be a big star when she first came on the country music scene 20 years ago. I work with 20-30 something year old women who have been fans of her since they were kids.
I watched the documentary about her on Netflix earlier this year. She is hard to hate. Her parents coached her to stay out of politics. To stay away from political topics like abortion. To maintain her image as a “good girl”. Not a slut. Not a skank. She also has not until recently “augmented” her body.
The other fact is that her concert tour this year significantly increased the GDP of the USA. Those concerts were a huge benefit to the metro areas. So much so that they had mayors of other cities begging her to have a concert in their town.
I'd prefer a Trump rally in my town :)
A lot of money to be made off of stupid people. It’s what keeps the economy afloat.

I remember when Michael Jackson was so big, he suddenly imploded.
He rose to be the “greatest entertainer on the planet” and suddenly, everyone turned against him.
It’s funny how someone can be so famous, the mob decides to hate them.
There is such a thing as getting as big as a weather balloon which then pops.
If you are the greatest who ever lived, there is only one way for that ride to go.

Taylor Swift is the most successful SINGER/SONGWRITER in history since the Beatles. Especially female singer/songwriters. Carly Simon is probably the next woman in line, but does not even come close.
Michael Jackson was an incredible entertainer. However, Quincy Jones and others wrote most of his songs and produced his best albums.
Michael also turned into a drug addict freak. There are even stories that have come out recently that Michael’s father had him chemically castrated when he was a child to keep his voice from changing. There have been stories for years that Michael and the rest of the Jackson’s were abused by the father. That is what most likely turned him into a drug addict.
