Just after Rush passed away, I began organizing the decades of Rush 24/7 podcasts I had downloaded over the decades. I happened to click 'play' on one from 2007, when Billary was the anointed one, and B. Hussein was just a skinny creep from Chicago. I have been listening in order ever since. Sarah Palin has come and gone, and Operation Chaos was a joy to re-live. As Hussein began to lead in 2008, Rush instituted Operation Chaos to keep Billary relevant for as long as possible.

When Hussein was emaculated, his first days were very much like SloJo Biden. Hussein had no idea what Executive Order he was signing, and Greg Craig had to explain everything to him, and to the country. Greg Craig was the lawyer for Fidel Castro and also the lawyer for the father of Elian Gonzalez.

Lovely, just lovely.

Listened to entire broadcast…this show could have been heard live today. Rush is as relevant now as he was 3 years ago. The voice of reason and thoughtful discussion, he was the best ever. Thanks for sharing, while it made me sad that he’s gone, I’m glad we still can listen to him today!

Oh, MY!

I just remembered that there are three C-Span Simulcasts from the early EIB days. These are long before the Dittocam. The first one is from 1990, just two years after he moved from his adopted home town of Sacramento, to the Big Apple. In 1990 he was on 200 stations. As we all know, eventually he was on 650 stations, all across the Fruited Plain.

On the 1994 Simulcast, on the right side of his desk, he uses a similar computer to one I had at the same time. He mentions and uses CompuServe while broadcasting. Back before the World Wide Web, CompuServe was the cutting edge of excellence, so, of course, El Rushbo used it. My first laptop with CompuServe had 4k RAM, and I thought it was hot stuff.

Anyway, some of the other fun things in the C-Span Simulcasts are Rush having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have. During one of the commercial breaks (the obscene profit center breaks) he can be seen in the production area playing air guitar with his staff.

As many have stated, any one of Rush’s shows can be listened to in any era. The timeless wisdom was true in 1776,and will be true until the end of time. Rush’s foundation of the God given rights enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution will never ‘go out of style.’
