Sadly, enjoyable and passionate political discussions are a thing of the past. It’s actually sad & it’s why I stay away from political discussions. The people who can’t rationally discuss politics just make it completely personal & absolutely impossible.

you be just reminded me of an old girlfriend who got drunk,assaulted me and left teethmarks on my arm, called the cops on me and then tried to explain how her biting me was somehow my fault. yea...she was arrested, kicking and screaming all the while. it was Christmas eve. went to video court on CHRISTMAS morning to plead for her to be released on ror and the poor judge was pissed he had to be there at all. found out later there were no less than 35 Christmas eve “incidences” in his court on CHRISTMAS DAY! decided on new years day, after another bout with her drinking, that I wasn’t cut out for this as a lifestyle. met a nice woman and have been happily married for over a decade with no knock down drag puts to speak of. but still...the old girlfriend DID make life exciting during the holidays.
Oh, I can discuss politics rationally.
