I liked it.
Confused about 12,000 years passing in the conversation. Is that their time or our time? How many years in our future, if we’re already gone.

How many races are extraordinarily slow and take 12,000 years for their next question?
wouldn’t speed be an advantage?
Were any of the civilizations Ming the Merciless?

Were any of the civilizations Ming the Merciless?
Were any of the AI machine civilizations still protecting their creator race?
I want to see the report on the Humans too.

"...and my next, much longer piece, will be about the race of coherent magnetic fields, that can only exist in stars."I can see the attraction.

Maybe ChatGBT got hacked by a kid in Jr. High with his thesaurus? (It was bad enough back in my day with a book - just imagine what these kids, and AI, can dive into with an internet connection.)

I was a big sci-fi buff in teens and twenties and read all the greats.
I like your writing style and you craft well. It will suit the genre.
I look forward to reading more.

Thanks! I intend on starting work on at least two projects, one of them collaborative.

I had an English teacher in Jr High who would only allow a half page of hand written material to be submitted for stories. He would have given you an A+. Nice work, Laz.

“there was archeological evidence,” it should be “there were archaeological evidence.” Also, “emergint” should be corrected to “emerging.”No wonder the humans died out. They let their fledgling AI run the whole place before they did the necessary adjustments and fine tuning.
But may that is right. "There are no evidence of widespread voter fraud" could be correct even if the "there is no evidence" has been falsified a gazillion times.

Humans didn’t/ don’t they are murdered by Skynet.
