The drugs today can kill people. Besides why go through life like an idiot?

Yeah, from the little I’ve read, it sounds like the guy in the house will be charged in their deaths.

I’m not alleging homicide. If the parents are correct, they all voluntarily tried a homemade drug. Homicide implies intended harm.

If there are charges coming, it’s more likely a manslaughter charge because they did this activity a thousand times before and it just didn’t work out this time.

No matter what the coroner’s conclusion is, this will remain a frustrating mystery. That homeowner will need to furtively look over his shoulder for the rest of his life, expecting retribution from a grieving family member in any place, atvany moment.

Why? The other dudes imbibed willingly. He didn’t poison them.

Well, if the homeowner did cook it up, I am sure he is regretting it now.

In my circle of acquaintances over many years, I know of only 1 who died from exposure after passing out drunk. Based on a ratio from that, it seems highly improbable that 3 would do the same, ALL AT ONCE. It seems to me to be ectremely likely that the problem is not alcohol. Rather, it’s some other drug taken without knowledge of its lethal nature.

“The other dudes imbibed willingly. He didn’t poison them”

How do you know that? Maybe he thought it would be fun to spike everyone’s drinks?

Oh I agree it likely isn’t alcohol. I think they all took some drug and the three who needed to drive home went outside to sober up, fell unconscious, and froze to death. Meanwhile the homeowner was passed out inside for 48 hours and knew nothing about anything until the fiancée of one of the dead guys came banging on the door.

I don’t see this as a big deal, these things happen, about 40 years ago we had a dead guy in our backyard for about two weeks without knowing it. He had driven off the side of freeway late at night and ended up wrapped around a tree at the very end of our property, which went all the way to the freeway, about a half mile. We were gone the weekend it happened, but a couple weeks later we were sitting out back drinking and all the horses started going crazy, looking around to try and find out what spooked them, we saw the truck stuck on the tree with the dead driver in it.

When I called the Police I just told them, hey we just found a dead guy in our backyard, can you come pick him up, my horses don’t like it...

“Of course all were adults and took the drug so there would be shared risk and responsibility. Idiots. Why wouldn’t booze and cigarettes be enough?”

Booze has a responsibility to dram shop. And anywhere it is served, even peoples’ homes, it is supposed to be controlled. Other drugs are still being looked at as states differ. Cannabis is medically legal in 33 states and 10 of those states allow for adult use. But the laws vary in their span of control for drugs and the jury is still out on individual cases filed.

Testing for fentanyl doesn’t work after 72 hours. It doesn’t sound like he was tested or the lawyer would have said so. Guy #5 hasn’t said he was tested.

Leaving the house to temporarily avoid the press is one thing but this guy completely moved out pronto. That’s a bit extreme for claiming innocence. Smells of getting rid of evidence and half a step from fleeing. He worked at home so why the need to take a leave of absence? None of the flip floppy stories the lawyer is telling makes any sense.

Lawyer’s latest version of the night was JW walked the 3 to the front door and hugging them goodbye. But they left their coats, wallets, keys and phones in the house. Then they ended up in the backyard.

Answering the door to the cops like Mr. Pelosi and his friend is sooo last week.

We have been discussing this in my family for days.

We also believe there must be some kind of drugs involves - the guy inside who lived said he’d “been asleep for two days” - THAT is not normal.

The toxicology tests will tell the story.

It was the vaxx. As the most brilliant Freepers have told us over and over, any and all pre-mature sudden deaths (and not so sudden deaths) are all caused by the vaxx. There are no other explanations and so you are wasting your time trying to fine one.
