You do have to wonder the motives of some people, different opinions are one thing but anger and outright hatred is stupid

I don’t really care if he has pressers or not. He is still the Governor. I haven’t any ideas to his intent now.
The point is that it is totally routine. That is about as local an issue as you can get and only locals were the audience - yet it is supposedly a conspiracy that the press conference and those like it are for a shadow national presidential campaign, even though he and other governors routinely do these things and he has been doing them himself ever since he became governor, just like any other governor. It’s totally absurd.
Okay, I am not worried about that anyway.
One stumbling block that has plagued the MAGA movement in general, and Trump in particular, are those Trump supporters who ape Trump’s negative affect, but lack his comedic genius.
He uses biting humor to make his points, but that takes both timing and wit. Lacking either of those things, a small subset act as repellents for potential voters who might like Trumps policies, but who don’t want to be associated with the red faced weirdos.
No matter, RDS flamed out all on his own. He made a terrible decision to run against Trump now rather than wait 4 years. He may not recover from taking that bad advice.
For me, DeSantis gets a clean slate in 2028.
It’s like the 2020 election: It only makes sense if you assume bad intentions and foul play.
That works for me. As long as he comes back and governs his state well again.
Republicans already have a difficult time winning elections, when you piss off even a small percentage of potential voters it can mean the difference between winning and losing
You’re avoiding why Trump supporters and other republicans should vote for desanctus, if he is chosen to be the republican presidential candidate because either the rnc or the left takes Trump off the ballot.
If the rnc is the one that removes Trump, then they don’t deserve being supported.
If the left somehow removes Trump, and the rnc goes along with it, then the election and justice system are both corrupt and illegitimate.
The point is that it is totally routine.
Then post the ‘routine’ daily press conferences that desantis did on florida while he was actively campaigning....
It should be easy, since it was ‘routine’.....
But you can’t, because he didn’t care about Florida then...
The people in Florida who hate DeSantis the most are members of the sexual weirdo community - especially the ‘trans’ and Drag Queen varieties.
And some commie style ‘professors’ who were told they weren’t allowed to teach CRT anymore . Where’s your hate coming from?
The daily DeSantis decriers could save themselves some time by waiting until the press conference occurs and then give us better information. However, this would not fill their need to imply some sort of dastardly doings from the governor. I suspect they wouldn’t bother to post any such articles if the press conference topics were available when the news media mentioned the events.
