I’m surprised that “Boom Boom (Out Go the Lights!)” didn’t make the list; a century-old blues song that was raised from the dead by Pat Travers. (Some of us understand the feelings behind the lyrics, but that’s an issue for another day.)
Apparently the writer has some sand in his mangina.
So who is eliciting "ire" here? Who is to be condemned? The poor schmuck admiring a racy photograph of his ex-crush, or the woman monetizing her sexual appeal by voluntarily participating in the pornography industry?
Someone make it make sense!
Regards,
Well I think the whole list could be filled with early Stones Songs, like “Stupid Girl” Yesterday’s Papers, Hot Stuff, Hey Negrita, and on and on....And listen to the early Beatles—the lyrics would surprise you...
And now what as re to do with this information. I say play it loud!

The only song in that list I ever even heard of was Brown Sugar. and I never made the association the author claims.
Can’t believe this one didn’t make the list:

“Take a walk on the wild side”
Does Jagger expect women to love him for his pretty face, high intellect, or polished manners?
Todd Rundgren, We Gotta Get You A Woman:
“They may be stupid but they sure are fun.”
“Into the Night by Benny Mardones”
The comments on that video are a riot.
Eh...you beat me to it! I always found it revealing that women seemed to like the song just as much as guys did...when you listen to the song, you can hear lots of women in that crowd singing right along!
Just as a cigar is sometimes just a cigar, a tune people like is just a tune.
Liking younger women is “misogynistic”? If so then just about every man who ever lived is guilty. We are hard wired by biology to prefer young healthy females who look most likely to be able to produce healthy offspring.
Great observation.
writing of GFR, one of my personal favs...TNUC. known more than a few.
If we’ve inadvertently ruined your enjoyment of some of these songs by making you aware of the lyrics, we apologize.
1. No, you don’t. If you worried about it at all you would never have written such crap.
2. We know the lyrics and the vast majority don’t give a crap. Thats why pushing 60 years in they are still played and rocked out to. So...
Sit down and shut up.
