I just watched Dune 2. What an amazing cinematic experience.
I saw it a couple weeks ago. Love it. Do you think there will be a Dune 3?

I think there will be a Dune three due to the success of Dune 2. I wonder if they will combine Dune Messiah and Children of Dune into a single movie.

Go with an open source Linux and install it on your old computer. Windows is corporate bloatware and your older hardware will run much better on linux. If you are somewhat technical and can install it yourself. Take a look at Linux Mint. It is supposed to be easy to install and comes preloaded with a lot of applications that are also open source. https://linuxmint.com/ I've been planning to do that for awhile now, but I need a dual boot system. I use this machine to do programing and I need to be able to use it in Windows mode.
I also have so many source files on this machine that I'm hesitant to take a chance on damaging the existing operating system. I think I need a flash drive that I can boot from. I understand this is a common enough technique. Do you have any insight on this?

I've got dozens of XP machines lying around, i've long been intending to just go to Linux. I don't need any high end capacity for anything I do right now. I gave up playing fancy video games a couple of decades ago.

Years ago I worked with a guy who looked just like Foster Brooks. Always half-expected to seem him break into a stagger, but never happened.

I saw a reference to the composer drawing up the score for Dune 3 so yes, there will be another.
That was the first iteration of Dune that I’ve seen that didn’t waste miles of film on Shai Hulud, since the worms make for spectacular special effects.

Preproduction starts all the time on films that never actually get made but, like you, I do believe there will a third movie. They will milk it as long as they can.
