My son called from college to ask if he could borrow our van for a spring break trip.

I asked where he was going. If it was Florida, the locks would be changed and the loans would be called.

He was an Astronautical Engineering Major. He and four others were touring Air and Space museums across a 10-15 state loop.

He absolutely got the van. His NASA employment credentials got him free entry to some of them.

Even as college students, some of them had security clearances. They weren’t going to do stupid stuff to jeopardize that.
