Secularism is a large and declining component of Israeli society.
A quick search turns up this on Wikipedia, certainly a pro-atheist site:
“Irreligion in Israel is difficult to measure. Though Israeli Jewish society is highly secularized when compared to the rest of the Middle East, the importance of religion in state life leaves little room for total disengagement from it. Some 20% of Israeli Jews do not believe in a deity, and some 15% claim to observe no religious practices.”

You may wish to do further research to confirm real numbers. But your suggestion that Israeli Jews are “60% atheist” is not yet supported by data.
"An Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics survey published in 2021 found that among Israeli Jews over the age of 20, about 45 percent identified as secular or not religious, while 33% said they practiced “traditional” religious worship. Ultra-Orthodox Jews, known as Haredim in Hebrew, made up 10%."

Without the courage and leadership of that “contemptible fool” this Brit.,born at the outbreak of WW11 - and millions like her - would not have grown up in freedom.
