Yes and no.
I’ve argued since hours after 10/7 that this appeared to me to be aimed at taking out the Israeli government.
If people have been paying attention, the language used by these paid protesters - i.e., ‘useful idiots’ - has changed dramatically:
They are now stating that they oppose the Israeli government, not the Israeli people, i.e., ‘Jews’.
We all know that the latter is a lie, but the shift in language is profound, especially in consideration of its consistency, evidence that its coming from their handlers rather than just media pundit trope, and I believe that there’s much more than tacit honesty in those statements.
It’s an effective strategy: Weaken the strong Netanyahu government to facilitate the ‘Final Solution’...which appears to have a timetable that is not synced with Iran’s nukular development, strongly suggesting that Hamas’ unilateral assault exhibits evidence of a strategy not yet seriously analyzed by any source I’ve read that weren’t my own words.
The effects of the true pandemic upon our own country are another discussion entirely in much broader scope than just Israel (i.e., we ain’t seen nothin’ yet IMHO: Wait’ll Trump gets his shot at retribution or - worse - if he doesn’t).
I’ve been saying that for years.. “higher” education is turning out morons, you come out dumber than when you went in.
There’s degree’s in stupidity that should never exist yet idiots choose them and expect 6 figure starting salaries in a CEO spot as a Taylor Swiftism expert.
I have a slightly different but connected take.
I worked in NYC for a LONG time. Mrs DoodleBob and I homeschooled the kids. I generally met and knew all sorts of people - different races, religions, etc. So did the kids. We had familiarity with these folks, and respect for them. As such, we didn’t have a caricature-like stereotype of Jewish, Muslim, Indian, Chinese, etc. people - i.e., I don’t think everyone Jewish is like Seinfeld or Indians are like Apu on the Simpsons. Parenthetically, some of the biggest defenders of Israel in North Jersey were Protestants.
Deplorables may be white, on balance, and Christian, on balance, but we are not isolationists like leftists. We work for a living, go to Church, and meet a wide swath of humanity in our travels. We probably even have a good laugh about stereotypes with our black, Jewish, and _____ friends. We aren’t perfect, but we are empirically-based.
However, Leftists tend to not mingle. They stay in their cloistered enclaves. They’ve shown outright disdain and hostility for anyone who is against their groupthink.
Many Jewish folks who slant leftists are either non-denominational or lapsed. They don’t IDENTIFY as “Jewish.”

I suspect most of these radicals on campus NEVER met someone who was Jewish AND religious. Their cloistered parents sent them to cloistered schools and then curated cloistered friends in their salons. They may have met Jewish people but they weren’t religious or identified with their heritage. Religion is sophistry (unless it’s the Church of Leftism), Israel is apartheid, and MAGA is bigotry…and they never met any of these outgroup members.
I would also suggest, that divorce plays a bigly part in this mess. Mom and Dad demonstrate that marriage is a legal contract that can be dissolved instead of a lifetime commitment for better and worse. Therefore, we should act stunned when little Johnny and Mary, with their family annihilated, see Antifa as a fun lifestyle choice.
But I digress.
These leftist kids have been raised by tribalism at school and home. They see anyone not like them as ignorant baboons at best or, on balance, threats to their tribe. Bluntly, they Jewish people who ARE religious or pro-Israel as The Enemy.
In the final calculus, leftists tend to dehumanize people who are unlike them. They did it for years with Republicans, then Tea Party people, then “MAGA Republicans.” Now, getting their orders from leftism that Hamas is good, and having never met religious Jewish people or Israelis, their tribal impulse is to see them as subhuman.
And history hath shewn how that ends.

Most of these university faculties are just collections of morons and perverted radicals that normal people like you and I wouldn’t engage in conversation.
Having served as an election judge, I noticed that most of us were or are teachers (myself included but I voted differently).
And are the very thing they say they condemn.
And they are so blind, they do not see it.

I’d wager than less than 10 percent of them ever recover if they’re this crazy by age 18. Childhood is called the “formative” stage in the human life cycle for a reason...
I know a lot of campus groups are funded by the Muslim Brotherhood and the CCP. I also know in the UK, where they are a bit more open about their "hate western civilization" agenda a bunch of the radicals are "refugees".
