Here are a few I found from "The Scotsman":

TRIBUTS were paid yesterday to British servicemen killed in the Gulf as the names of more victims of the conflict were released.

Lieutenants James Williams, 28, Philip West, 32, and Antony King, 35, were among six Royal Navy officers killed when two Sea King helicopters collided at the weekend.

A fourth officer from the same base - Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose, near Helston, west Cornwall - who also died in the accident was named in reports as 31-year-old Philip Green.

The Ministry of Defence also released the names of the two RAF servicemen killed by "friendly fire" when their Tornado was downed by a US Patriot missile battery near the Kuwaiti border.

Flight Lieutenant Kevin Main, a pilot, and Flight Lieutenant Dave Williams, a navigator, both of 9 Squadron, died as they were returning from an operational mission over Iraq on Sunday.

Sergeant Steven Roberts, 33, from Bradford, West Yorkshire, became the first British combat victim after being shot while trying to calm civilian rioting at Al Zubayr on Sunday.

Yesterday his widow, Samantha Roberts, paid tribute to her "unique" husband, describing him as an "outgoing and sociable" man who was loved by all he met.

The British death toll since the conflict started last Thursday currently stands at 18 - 16 in accidents and two killed in combat. In addition, two British soldiers are still missing after their Land Rover was ambushed on Sunday by Iraqi forces with a rocket-propelled grenade in Al Zubayr.
