THOUSAND OAKS RIBBON FLAP

Well folks, there are yellow ribbons one EVERY tree on thousand oaks Blvd. Even the pepper trees. Who ever did it did a great job. I think they ran out of trees. Let this be a lesson to all those namby pamby rule following dweebs.

I see. Well, I am going to be disagreeable. Brenda should put up yellow ribbons over every inch of her property, but only on her property.

As an aside, I don't like yellow ribbon as a symbol. They seem so passive.

I'm with you about the yellow ribbon. It all started with a rather stupid song by Tony Orlando and Dawn. And now it's like a national treasure or something.

I agree. I attended our district fair here in Southeast Missouri a few days after 9/11. I was shocked to find that all of the military recruiting stations had yellow ribbons plastered all over their tents.

I made a few phone calls to recuiter offices and they were soon replaced by flags, with sincere apologies.
