"Say Sweetie, where can I get some support like yours?"

Tom Shales, media critic for the WashPost, wasn't too impressed with the Hillary interview:
It was by no means a contest, but Barbara Walters came away from it looking better than Hillary Rodham Clinton, the celebrated interviewee.

By "better," I think what I mean is "more recognizably human."

Chris Matthews is on Imus and his first comment was "Didn't she fall asleep at one point? Snicker, snicker". LOL!

Mike Evans reports that six book stores opened at midnight to sell the PIAP's book: eighty copies were sold (to piaps' employees Mike surmised), while on the left coast another half dozen book sellers opened to zero's of buyers.

No one is going to buy this fantasy land, I wish this is what happened, pos novel.

Cheers guys.

Jonah Goldberg (NRO online, The Corner) has THE BEST question BabaWawa should have asked Hillary:

Do you still think Anita Hill was right about everything?
(Were the allegations in that case "private"?)

Oh, man, what I'd give to see someone ask her THAT!

The AP reports 80 people lined up in NY at midnight to buy the book. Among them:

"Its the hot book of the summer and I wanted to get it first," said Mike Keo, 40, Manhattan lawyer who stood in line waiting to purchase his copy. "I just think it would be nice to hear about her life from her."

Some even came the moment they knew the book was on sale.

"I was in my pajamas and I saw it on TV and I jumped up and my husband said where are you going," said Lyn Scarpati, 56, a real estate broker.
[Oh yeah, I believe that!]

The little people, ya know.

Katherine Jean Lopez (NRO) makes an EXCELLENT point:

Hillary called it “The worst moment that I can ever imagine anyone going through”, referring to the moment Bill confessed. The worst moment? Anyone?!

She represents New York! The worst moment...anyone?! Have an imagination. Talk to some constituents.

I saw the story on this lady with Tiny and I must say I'm torn. He was runt of the litter and the vet said no way Tiny would live he should be put down.

But the lady loved him and prayed for him and the vet says Tiny's AOK. Nothing on whether he has serious problems, but he looks scared half to death to me.

Despite Marital Stress, Hillary Drawn to Bill: ‘I Hope That We’ll Grow Old Together’

Ah, the ultimate punshiment. :-)

One lie hillary! told imparticular last night with Babs was, the economy was going so well under the clintoon admin., 2,000,000 new jobs ( do we have actual data on that?) and a 55 trillion dollar projected supplus. Now she's hearbroken the way the this administration has turned all the good work they did around. (paraphrasing)

And Babs just sat there like hillary was spouting the gospel. Don't news organizations have a stantard to at least tell the truth?

Thanks, Betty, for posting this!!!

Thanks for your contributations! I knew we'd be needing a place to express our disgust at it all. I think we might even need a 'This is the place to vent about Hillary's! book II'.

But if we're really really lucky it will die down very soon. *crossing my fingers*

Shall we synchronize our watches? :-)

Thought I'd go see what I can find at the nursery, Monday's are usually slim pickins.

Sprucing up the deck would give Mr. B a nice surprize when he gets home.

This is scary:

"I'm a big fan of Hillary's and Bill's," said Greg Packer, who was the first in line, arriving at 9 p.m. Sunday. Packer, 39, a highway maintenance worker from Huntington, planned to buy two books the limit because Clinton "has a lot to say."

In spite of the limit on wristbands, the crowd kept growing on a line behind police barricades near a side entrance to the Fifth Avenue store.

Barnes & Nobles' vice president of marketing, Bob Wietrack, predicted the memoir will be the chain's No. 1 nonfiction book of the year. Simon & Schuster, which agreed to pay Clinton $8 million, printed an astounding 1 million copies.

Richard Paice, a 36-year-old lawyer, decided on the spur of the moment to join the book signing line at 8:50 a.m.

"If you think about it, it's a historic moment. She's the smartest person in politics in modern history," said Paice.

Evidently, there's many more mental-midgets than we thought.

All this admiration of PIAPS is getting to me, but I've found a way to channel my aggression, I've been out in the yard ripping up weeds. At this rate, my lawn and garden will be weed-free in two days! :)

Has anyone heard from Aggie Mama? Little Aggie was set to make his world debut soon.

Me, too. Somewhere, out of this air, the dreaded Creeping Charlie arrived. What a fight. As soon as the breezes settle down I'm gonna Roundup 'em.
