Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Good Morning Students. Welcome to class!
Class is now in session. The rules are simple; you get a grade if you use the WFTD in a sentence, haiku, limerick, or quatrain. You get a "+" if you make a link, or make the teacher laugh, or you offer the appropriate bribes. I hold the grade book; the whip and chair.
I looked for a story; here and there
An example extrodinaire
People Gallant
Such a want
Of liberals who truly care!
I tried to find just one story, and found to many to effectively use. So this is an open-ended white board assignment. Your teacher finds herself disgusted with the lack of gallant individuals making the news, of course, she attributes that to the fact that the damn liberals would rather show every negative story in the world, instead of showing on case of a human acting gallantly.
Gallant are those who
Do good for no other cause
Than simply, they care.

Morning!
Governor Perry shows gallantry
In dealing with the outlaw band.
With their hiding and skulking they're likely
To have overplayed their hand.
