Good Morning Students. Welcome to class!
Class is now in session. The rules are simple; you get a grade if you use the WFTD in a sentence, haiku, limerick, or quatrain. You get a "+" if you make a link, or make the teacher laugh, or you offer the appropriate bribes. I hold the grade book; the whip and chair.
Somebody is calling for the removal of a large cross that has overlooked Lake Pend Oreille's Garfield Bay for the past 20 years.
The complaint was filed with Bonner County, the U.S. Forest Service, the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, and the ACLU of Idaho. It declares the 50 foot tall cross "a public nuisance," a fire hazard and an invitation for others to erect religious monuments elsewhere in the county.
I'm really, really getting tired of these hateful people and their fatuous complaints. If anyone had a problem with this cross, they should have spoken up 20 years ago, not now. But you see, now they are actively and fervently hoping to erode the majority's way of life, into a bland and pap filled hell of conformity. If we don't start standing up to these people, there will simply be nothing left.
It's all in the name of 'let's not offend anyone, at any time, anywhere". To hell with that, you are not entitled to not be offended. Hell, I'm offended. I'm offended by this sick and continuous breakdown of freedom. These people are trying to free anyone; they're trying to enslave them. /rant
