You're probably right, though not definitely right. The Lott name is a good one to have in Mississippi (though they're not related). Also, Mike Lott is the strongest candidate Taylor has ever faced, having won three terms to the state legislature. Even if he doesn't win (which he probably won't), maybe he'll poll well enough to get Taylor to seek another office in the near future. I figure it's worth a try.
