Bingaman will have to keep this race clean. Wouldn't want to get into a pi$$ing contest with this guy.

It's official. Speaking for myself, I wish McCulloch the best. His campaign will concentrate on energy independence and national security.

SPREAD THE WORD!!!

Maybe knowing he has a challenger will make him pay a little bit of attention to his constituents,

I hope that McCulloch can make this a serious race. Bingaman usually wins on the basis of his opponents' weaknesses, not his own merit.

Thanks for the ping! I hope 2006 is the year Bingaman is defeated. His vote against Alito, while not surprising, was the last straw for me.

Sadly, the best we ran against Bingaman (with the exception of Harrison Schmitt, the sitting incumbent in '82) was the late Colin McMillan in '94. If Gary Johnson wasn't so nutty on his drug stances, he could've been the one to take this seat back.

In 2000 Bingaman would not debate Redmond but only send surrogates.

Bingaman's contribution to energy independence is to be the good little bought-and-paid for sock puppet of leftist envirowackos by steadfastly opposing the obvious right action: drilling ANWR to access our own oil, thereby bypassing the world's terrorist dictators who loathe and despise us.

Regarding national security Bingaman went outside the legislative mandate to seat Charlie Yah Lin Trie on his commission at the special request of his good friend Bill Clinton, making Trie an Asian big shot, in addition to bag man providing a half million in illegal donations, as well as mouthpiece for Beijing's Politburo scrawling the famous blackmail note the "Dear President" letter demanding removal of U.S. carriers from the Taiwan Strait to insure the continued flow of Chinese campaign donations.

Ann Bingaman did all anyone could to persecute Bill Gates engine of the U.S. economic boom in Reno antitrust, then went on to net a record 2 mill for six month's lobbying the FCC on behalf of Global Crossings sold to make eighteen mill for Terry McAuliffe to Li Kashing providing the PLAN comrade the fiber optics used by U.S. commercial and military interests.

Anti-gun, anti-flagburning amendment, anti-energy independence, anti-U.S. security is the platform of the junior senator from the Sierra Club.

Late entry into race is Senator Carraro who will beat Bingaman if the Repbulicans let him out of the primary. He is well known and draws Dems and Hispanics. A people person he will out-campaign Bingaman. Party officials always like doctors with lots of money but they don't attract voters. Carraro is a proven quantity. Represents largest city and has been there a long time. Has better name ID than Bingaman and certainly will stand the only chance of current offering to beat Bingaman--but with NM Republicans--who knows what they'll do.
