Mitt Romney to us, his neighbors...
Of course he's a RINO. Calling Romney a conservative republican is like calling Elton John a man.
Pinging our resident Romney fan.
There is one?
Mitt Romney has been brainwashed, pass it on.
Having know Mitt since I was a teenager, I know your statement to be utterly false. He has been a leading voice in reversing the Gay Marriage ruling of the MA court, the Heritage Foundation, no Liberal cabal, endorsed his Healthcare plan (indeed, they helped craft it) and the Big Dig predates his administration by at least a decade. But then, this isn't really about his politics, now is it?
Check his profile and posting history. You'd think he has a "man crush" on the guy! ;^)
Yeah. No way would I choose Rommey. Don't trust him. Give me a Mormon from Utah who has a better political track record. It's not enough to claim you are for or against something. Show me the resume.
Gay marriage: Mitt was against it, but there wasn't really anything he could do. Actually, he did ensure that Mass wouldn't marry non-Mass residents, which was all he could do. Blaming Mitt for gay marriage is like blaming Jeb for the hurricane.
The big dig is an even sillier thing to blame him for: that's been around for a while: ground broke for it in 1991.
I can certainly see where he was coming from in the insurance plan. Right now, if you are taken to the hospital, you have to be treated. The hospital cannot turn you away. Thus, people who can afford insurance but choose not to buy it are, in effect, free-riding if they get taken to a hospital. It would be politically totally infeasible to allow hospitals not to treat people who couldn't show insurance. The insurance plan Mitt put into place was formulated by the Heritage Foundation.
There may be flaws with the insurance plan, sure, but Mitt is not a RINO.
the big dig has been going on for the last decade
you can't blame this mostly federal project on romney.
Why do you engage in slander when trying to pin the big dig on romney
The project was conceived in the 1970s to replace the rusting elevated six-lane Central Artery. The expressway separated downtown from the waterfront, and was increasingly choked with bumper-to-bumper traffic. Business leaders were more concerned about access to Logan Airport, and pushed instead for a third harbor tunnel. In their second terms as governor and secretary of transportation, respectively, Michael Dukakis and Fred Salvucci, came up with the strategy of tying the two projects togetherthereby combining the project that the business community supported with the project that they and the City of Boston supported.
Planning for the Big Dig officially began in 1982, with environmental impact studies starting in 1983. After years of extensive lobbying for federal dollars, a 1987 public works bill appropriating funding for the Big Dig was passed by U.S. Congress, but it was subsequently vetoed by President Ronald Reagan as being too expensive. When Congress overrode his veto, the project had its green light and ground was first broken in 1991.

what is slanderous using your words now??
What has your guy done to solve the problem?
And it isn't as if you'd actually get a response from the author of this thread.....
" == Mitt Romney has been brainwashed, pass it on. == "
Must be a hereditary brain defect, like being a liberal.
What part of FEDERAL PROJECT, do you not understand.
big dig is about a 15-20 billion project or about 2000 dollars for every MA resident and is far more than MA would ever pay for on their own. It is probably in the neighborhood of 10,000 per Boston Metropolitan resident.
