He’s only a “shadow” to people who don’t do any homework, either because they are too lazy or because they want to claim Fred is an empty suit.

One at a time:
1) Baby killing -- Has repeatedly described himself as pro-life. Voted to ban late term abortions while in the senate. Received a 0% rating from NARAL while in the senate. Described Roe as "bad law" and would like to see it repealed. Was supported by multiple pro-life groups during both Senate runs.

2) Illegal aliens:

"A sovereign nation loses that status if it cannot secure its own borders and we are going to do whatever is necessary to do so, although our policies won’t be as harsh as yours are along your southern border. What does it say about the leadership of a country when that country’s economy and politics are dependent upon the exportation of its own citizens?" --- Fred Thompson

3) New World Order: I'm not sure what this means, but I'll say this, Thompson has been consistently opposed to gun bans and as long as I'm armed with the high capacity clips I need, bring on all the new world order you got.

4) government spending in excess of revenues & government spending in excess of revenues: Thompson is so outspoken against both of these issues I'm not even going to get into it.

We know where he stands on the issues. We know he can win. He isn't a flip flopper.

They are terrified for him to run because he can win? All that money they sent to another candidate prematurely will be wasted? :-)

I’ve been in a forum lately and all they talk about is the new world order. They also call it globalism and one world government. I still haven’t figured it out. I think that they think if a person supports free trade or corporations, that they are trying to take over the world or something. They are really screwed in the head. They go completely freaky over the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations). The CFR has been around since the 1920’s and hasn’t taken over the world yet so I’m not looking for them to anytime soon. They don’t like Fred because he’s a member of the CFR. Fred will have to do a LOT more than that to lose my support.
