California GOP to McCain: CONGRATS!
FlashReport ^ | 2/6/08 | Ron Nehring

Posted on 02/06/2008 5:59:12 PM PST by NormsRevenge

Just off the transom, State GOP Chairman Ron Nehring issued a hearty "congrats" to Senator McCain for his big win here in the Golden State:

"Congratulations to Senator McCain for his victory across California today.

Based on the results reported by the Secretary of State, Senator McCain has triumphed in every part of California, from the Oregon border to San Diego.

California Republicans know how to win in our state, as Governor Schwarzenegger and Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner demonstrated in 2006.

While the contest for the Republican presidential nomination appears it may continue, we're confident the issues of this campaign - the economy and keeping America on offense in Iraq and the Global War on Terrorism - will be those where Republicans have demonstrated consistent strength."

They know how to win in California!
LOL!
Arnold and Poizner and who else...?
Oh yeah, NO ONE. Not a single Republican elected to any other statewide office.

Ditto that for Steve (even though I still don't want him as gubbie)

Did you see the coverage of the lovefest last night? With Rosario Marin saying how happy all of the California Republicans were? The newscaster said something like "the GOPers just love John McCain!"

Gag!

If Obama is the nominee, it’s entirely possible for John Sidney to win CA.

Actually it was posted earlier today that the McCain swamp rats were whining about the endorsement not being made to his lord Highness liking and was not made loud enough with the proper amount of bowing.

But McCain is ineligible under the Constitution to be President of the United States, so all his efforts are in vain— he is not a natural born citizen. I didn’t write it, I just live under it. The only way to change it is a Constitutional amendment. Not even the Act of Congress in 1790 changed it.

McCain cain’t run!!!

What a joke! Ca. is now the Soviet Republic led by Dems not Pubs. The state Senate and Assembly will never be Pub in my lifetime. No redistricting has made Ca. a permanent Blue state. The Pubs will be shut out even in the next Gov’s race though Tom McClintock is a great man and ethical and has good grasp of issues. In the Nov. election, the Dems will sweep Ca. Pubs are now so discouraged that our Congressional delegation may even be denuded though so called safe districts keep Pubs in office. Generally, with 23 Pub retirees, the Dems should be jumping for their socialist pacifist joys!

He made a good first start today at CPAC but was not specific as of yet on Cabinet choices, how he will attack Obama’s stances and it will be Obama as the DNC choice. We shall see if he has a chance in the next months but Ca. is lost. Period. Obama today ridiculed Mitt’s farewell speech. The GOP should immediately respond to his pickiness and show him as he is, a demagogue. The MSM rails at McCain and Rommney and any stand up Pub if they ever, ever attack Dems and leftists. The Gop is supposed to just be quiet and fight a fight with no gloves. McCain says he will be very gentlemenly toward the Dems. That will lose him 40 states.

California Republicans know how to win in our state, as Governor Schwarzenegger and Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner demonstrated in 2006. Does that qualify as an oxymoron?
