Senator Obama refused Senator McCain's offer for the two of them to appear in 10 joint Town hall Sessions between now and the November Election. Camp McCain offered to join Senator Obama in 10 Town hall session through out the country leading up to the November election immediately after Clinton called it quits. These town hall session which McCain has become increasingly comfortable with were a great play from Camp McCain... Realizing that Obama doesn't do well without a script infront of him or being told what to think, McCain seized the opportunity to capitalize on this and pitched the offer. These Town hall meetings would be rather information, with no moderator, no pre-selected questions, scripts, or prompters. The questions would come from your Average Joe Americans attending the event. David Plouffe, campaign manager for Obama, offered 5 joint-appearances on behalf of his candidate with one of them being the Town hall session. Obama's inability to commit to the olive branch extended by McCain camp portrays him as unable to commit to a simply conversation with his opponent at the expense of the American voters. This displays Obama's insecurity with public speaking, especially after his Jerusalem comments, "mistake of a baby" comments, and lets not forget his "57 states" comment. Improv is not Senator Obama's strong suit...

Wonder if the GOP will be smart enough to make an issue of this.
So much for a change in the system of debates. Obama is scared. He knows he needs the media darlings to hand deliver him softballs and a townhall Q&A can’t deliver that.
Smart and the GOP do not go hand in hand these days. Just look at the idiot we have for the party’s nominee.
"Hmmm... errr... uhhh... hmmm... errr... uhhh..."
“Wonder if the GOP will be smart enough to make an issue of this.”
Some will mention it but it will not become an issue. I’m beginning to believe this is all just a “go through the motions” election.
Nope
Are you kidding? C'mon, this is the GOP we're talkin' about.
Even if they were smart enough, all that would happen is Obama would raise his voice saying "NO!" and the GOP would whine and wet the floor like a scared puppy.
Chick, chick, CHICKEN!!
Obammy, the Stepford candidate. The Manchurian candidate. The Empty suit, the marxist, the leftist, the crypto Muslim.
Obama is the end of the US if he’s elected.
O is afraid someone will ask him a question like “what’s your name?”.
"Hmmm... errr... uhhh... hmmm... errr... uhhh..."
Free Range?/Just Asking - seoul62........
Obama = yella
bock bock bock chicken
neener neener
"Hmmm... errr... uhhh... hmmm... errr... uhhh..."
lol
Obama: “Hussein...no Muhammed...wait. g*damnit...I mean Allah damnit”. Gotta love Jeff Dunham.
Barry is afraid he’ll be asked something not scripted in advance and approved by the DNC, which is why he’ll stick to the “objective” TV network debates.
Tonights stew...
If GOP is smart, have McCain do them without Obama, and then challenge Obama during the meetings. The O-camp will have to respond at some point.
I’d rather suffer an idiot than a treasonwhore as president.
“Obama is the end of the US if hes elected.”
Get prepared in as many ways as possible. The stuff is going to hit the fan before a year is out.
GOP and smart in the same sentence? Ha!
If I were John McCain...I would go ahead and schedule those Townhalls....and show up with my VP candidate....
what’s the wingspan of an african swallow?
They sure don't make 'em like they used to.
Exactly. He's great doing his standard speech off the teleprompter in front of the adoring crowds, but when you take away his security blanket of his fans and the teleprompter he's helpless.
I'll bet that he's a coward and doesn't agree to even one of these town hall meetings.
Id rather suffer an idiot than a treasonwhore as president.
That makes no sense. The end result can be the same.
I like the suggestion to do the Town Hall meeting anyways, and ask O questions without him present.
Make a jab at the fact that he's too cowardly to be there, and put the question out - making him a coward again if he doesn't answer in some way (his blog?).
good idea....now if only he had a vp candidate lol
Invite B. Hussein and when he doesn’t show (boc bock bock bock), just have McCain hold them by himself.
They can run ads later:
John McCain is willing to speak to the American public [show clips of the townhall debates] while Barrack Obama [show an empty chair with crickets chirping in the background] is not.
Ya know we’ll probably see something about this just being a cruel and vicious rumor on his smear website later...pft.
If he isn’t confident enough to go to a few meetings, how is he going to be confident enough to face all the ruthless people and defend this country?
Town hall meetings and round-table discussions are far more informative than so-called presidential debates.
Easy!! He said he would simply negociate with President Ahmudinejad and VIOLA! peace!
In which case he'll have to substantiate as being rumor by accepting McCain's invite.
I think you mean “Barack, Buck Buck Buck”
Good lord....O!bama has moobs like me.
I need the recipe./Just Asking - seoul62........
En estafado de pollo de menu de hoy-(on todays menu, chicken stew)*/Just Asking - seoul62.......
Wait....let me scan the recipe from grandmothers 1950 cookbook..( I’m “series”)....
Every time McCain opens his mouth he turns more people off. He should decline his own invitation, sit back, and wait for people to get sick of Obama.
But with the idiot, there's a chance he might do the right thing. With a treasonwhore, you KNOW things will be bad.

Thank you./Just Asking - seoul62......
The Clintons were supposed to be the masters of managing the press, but now that the press is in the tank with Obama they must marvel at the kind of rope-a-dope Obama is getting away with.
