Wolf Blitzer and Friends in the Tank for Obama
Right Up Front ^ | 06/26/2008 | R Hargraves

So, there I was, sitting at a local Mexican food joint enjoying my nachos and sweet tea. Nothing like Tex-Mex to finish off a great day. That's when I turned my attention to a TV on the wall on which CNN's Wolf Blitzer was talking to Jack Cafferty. Cafferty had asked viewers a question and wanted an email response. The question? "What does it mean that Barack Obama has opened up a double digit lead over John McCain?"

The responses are not important. What is important, however, is that in the entire program, Jack does not mention the Gallup poll just released today showing the race in a tie. Why does Jack overlook this poll? Well, because it doesn't fit the MSM narrative that Obama is unstoppable and inevitable. It also serves to discourage Republican voters from going to the polls. The only two polls showing Obama with a double digit lead are from Newsweek and the LA Times, both of which are about as reliable as my grandmother on a surfboard...

I saw this. Wolf let slip a comment talking about Obama’s “re-election.”

Definitely in the tank and quite smarmy besides.

I’d ask to compare with the likes of Dukakis/Bush and Kerry/GWB at the same point in the campaign but there’s really no comparison.

By November, Obama is going to be seen as an embarressment. His teflon is wearing thinner by the day and what’s underneath is really starting to get high as the summer warms up.

Next up on CNN...

Why is Obama so awesome, and what does this mean to you?

Haven’t watched CNN in over a year-mostly because of Cafferty. His snide remarks about Bush and anything to do with this administration are nearly as bad as Chrissy and his gang-especially Oberman.

I wonder what kind of life boat these MSM useful idiots have for when the country is relegated to Third World status. First Class, Elite life boats, to be sure.

I still have the button given me by the D.C. Chapter, with Wolf holding a sign that reads, ‘Will Lie For Food’.

"IT'S THE MEDIA STUPID!!!"

We need to take back the MSM. It is apparent that the American people have been brainwashed by the MSM. So, how do we stop it???? By getting jobs in the media, and becoming even more vocal via newspapers, op eds, blogs, etc..

I watched CNN comment on the BO press conference yesterday where he was tossed beach ball sized questions by a fawning press. Bill Bennett and Donna Brazile went at it tooth and nail... while Blitzer jumped in often bolstering Brazile’s pitiful defense. It was absolutely sickening!

Hopefully this fad will flame out quickly like every other fad. But for now, the morning shows and television news is completely unwatchable. Every talking head on every network is completly in the tank for Homobama. It’s disgusting.

On the upside, it has given me reason to put aside the remote and start reading American history again.

I wish there was a way to count the times the word “Obama” is spoken, vs “McCain”. Do it on CNN, and I bet even they (CNN) would be shocked.

Straight talkin’, no nonsense Jack Cafferty never wears his jacket. And his shirt sleeves are always rolled up. That’s how you know he’s not a “suit”. He’s a newsroom rebel- tellin’ it like it is. And by “like it is” I mean “how my KOS fans would like to hear it”.

There was an article in The Australian yesterday by a journalist who has recently visited the U.S. about the effect on the alliance with Australia of an Obama or McCain presidency. He said, as a throwaway line, that he hadn’t met a single person who wasn’t convinced Obama would win. I imagine most of the people he met were other journalists.
