Help! Who made this statement saying that OBama made Hillary look moderate?

Posted on 07/26/2008 10:35:45 AM PDT by dubya08

Does anyone know who (I think it was someone prominent) said something to the effect of this during the Dem primaries, that in picking Obama, the Dems had managed to find a candidate who made Hillary Clinton seem moderate and politically attractive?

I'm trying to remember who said it, because at the time I remember thinking it was a scathing indictment of how radical that party has become.

It was a column by Katherine Jean Lopez (sp?). It wasn't that long ago, some time earlier today.

Where is Hillary? I'm betting she never even runs for the Senate next time around. Yeah!! An Upstate New Yorker!!

The only thing I can say is that Obama has something on Hillary and Bubba....which would put them BOTH in jail.

Can’t prove it, but when I read it....I heard Dick Morris’ voice.

It was Dick Morris, said to Sean Hannity between the usual interruptions from Alan Colmes. I believe he also slid the comment in during the end of an exchange with Bill O’Reilly this past week while discussing his new book (Morris’s new book).

Well, I happen to be one of those rare FR Bill ‘OZ Reilly’ fans ... he ain’t always right, but he is further right than the fool spittlemeister Colmes who follows his show on FOX. And he’s a darnsight more right than the other alphabet networks. [BTW, I coined that phrase, ‘alphabet networks’, and heard it from a Rush caller this week! Made my old heart warm. The caller had to be one of our fellow Freepers. Which brings to mind that we freepers need to make our financial contribution this quarter to keep our site ‘in the air’.]

BTW, if you were referring to Morris as 'an old SOB', I have no comment. ;^)

I said that, too. Everyone was saying Hillary was going to dig up some dirt on Obama. I said Hillary is just a pesky little fly to Obama. He would squash her like a bug. Obama, not Hillary, was always the one I feared.

Her seat is up in 2012, she’ll probably be running for President again if Obama loses this year. If he wins.....I don’t know what she’ll do. She’ll be almost 70 in 2016. Her choices are become Ted Kennedy and stay in the Senate till she dies (or they wise up in NY), run in 2016 (Grandma for President) or quit and retire to her lush mansion with her girlfriend.

Either that, or they're biding their time...waiting to pounce.

She never ended her campaign; she just "suspended" it.
