Your humble correspondent will not be shy about taking FULL CREDIT for both the destruction of the Obama campaign and possibly even the Democrat Party if Obama picks Biden. One fringe benefit will be loads of laughs at Biden’s expense. And that is all I will say for now. Hee! Hee!

it could still be a fake. Biden is up for re-election this year and I don’t know if he can run for both offices concurrently - like Bentsen. And when BO goes down, there is no way that Biden is going to forfeit his chairmanship of Foreign Relations.

yes. Bentsen with Dukakis in 1988 and LBJ with JFK in 1960. My guess is that DE law will allow Biden to run for both offices concurrently, but I don’t know. If Biden cannot run for both offices, it is likely a fake.
