Toby Keith another.

Nope:

"Barack Obama is getting praise from Nashville, courtesy of one big, patriotic country star.

Toby Keith, perhaps best known to non-country audiences for his post-Sept. 11 song "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue," says he's a Democrat, and was impressed by the senator from Illinois."

This story is a few months old.

I didn't know his party affiliation. I know a lot of Democrats who are more conservative than some Republicans I know. You're right, we need more of those kind. Their voice has been shouted down by the "big tent" party.

I don't camp out, but I think a good rule of thumb is: Don't invite weirdoes and wastrels into your tent; nothing good can come of it.

Saw Dennis Miller on the Jay Leno Show the other night. I've only seen the show maybe 5 times.

Dennis made a joke about MIchelle Obama and then apologized for it after commercial and mentioned that Leno had given him a "look".

Funny thing is that Leno had made a number of distasteful "jokes" about Sarah Palin.

I assumed poorly. Obviously, Mr. Keith loves his country but fails to see the danger that this new generation of Democrat offers to this country.

As penitence, here's another Patricia Heaton pic:

Both Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson are Republicans who supported Rudy for President.

Just about every NASCAR driver and PGA Golfer are Republicans, Brad Faxon is a democrat, Payne Stewart was. All of Tiger’s buddies on tour are republicans, many giving money.

You aren't thinking of Gene Simmons perhaps?

That makes me sick if he supports Obama. I saw Bush at SMU on the night before the 04 election and Toby was with them and sang. I can’t believe he would support Hussein.

He is an opportunist jerk. Simple. He was pro Bush when it helped his career. Then he came out as pro Obama. He then got heat for that so he tried to say that what he said wasn’t what he said. He clearly endorsed Obama, and now he is trying to back peddle. To heck with slimy Toby Keith. Not a fan, never will be—he tried to use our honest feelings of patriotism to earn a buck.

Maybe a Republican?

The way LeAnn sings, I suspect she's a registered angel.

Toby changed registration from Dim to Indep. because that party doesn’t stand for him anymore. Said what he said about Obama was reported but media “forgot” to to report what he said about McCain. Doesn’t like the way Sarah has been treated and will most likely vote the McCain/Palin ticket

Toby Keith has registered as an Independent for this election, he said he could not vote dem because the extreme left has taken over the party.

They had a thread on it just this week here on FR

I'd call Clint a small "L" libertarian. I have not watched Million Dollar Baby to the end. I'm a big boxing fan and I found the boxing training and fight scenes unbelievable.

But I believe that Clint said that his character "was destroyed" by his decision to kill the young lady character by her request.

I read in 2008 that Toby was a conservative Democrat. But upset at both Hillary losing the primary and that Obama was far left h left the democrat party. However, I have heard from people on this site that their are several left leaning country stars including Faith Hill and Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood along with those damn Dixie Chicks.
