Words fail. For anyone who wonders if the simple-minded, repetitive drivel from the Obama campaign is effective you have depressing evidence that it works very well indeed.

Charleston has a population of over 50,000 people. It is not surprising that someone could find 25 people that share their views. You can probably find 25 people, in any city this size or larger, who can tell you of their recent meetings with Elvis and Hoffa ... perhaps this same 25 individuals.

Did you listen to the clips? Not all 25 are in agreement either with each other or the candidates.

If my count is right, eight out of 25 are for McCain, one is undecided, one is not voting. That leaves 15 for Obama (peace be upon him).

The election is over.

You dont have to believe me, only the words of Dear Leader Obambi to know that life will be wonderful come January when Obambi takes office...the rest of us who have actually listened to the dirtbag know exactly what we are going to get from him.

Well, actually no, I expected a transcript of their views, I chose not to click on 25 faces to listen to something similar to Hannity’s “person on the street”. I imagine that these people conveyed the exact message the paper intended, call me cynical. I stand by my remarks based on past experience, sometimes I am surprised. Just classify me as a driveby, if you wish.

Trust me - I grew up in Charleston and people there are dumber than a box of rocks!! Here you have Obama indicating that there will be no new power plants built under his term that use coal - and West Virginians are all for that. Where is the logic in their thinking. I think their ball caps are on way too tight!!!

Like I keep telling people, they are hearing him talk but are not listening to what he has been saying. I work with some die hard Democrats who were gushing over him until Joe the Plumber come out, they had no idea that this was his plan all along ::::smacks forehead::::::

“The election is over”
You decide this based a 60% result of a .05% sampling. I’ll bet that was your conviction to begin with. Contact the Charleston paper, they may be interested.

For anyone who wonders if the simple-minded, repetitive drivel from the Obama campaign is effective you have depressing evidence that it works very well indeed.

You have to understand the Charleston Gazette is the mouthpiece for the Democrat Party in West Virginia. I don't know how many folks they had to interview to be able to produce what appears to be an Obama bias in our voters, but you can bet they didn't just list the first 25 folks that walked by. John McCain is going to win the State of West Virginia by double digits....maybe as many as twenty points.

On another note, not to be too picky, but they appear to have oversampled blacks in their interview sample. Blacks make up about 3% of the population in this state, and their sample had five apparent black people out of the twenty five for a 20% figure. All of the blacks seemed to support Obama in their sample also, which does not jive with what you would expect from people who live in rural areas and tend to be more conservative.

It was either very good sarcasm (and I am too dense to discern it) or it was very poor sarcasm (and not discernible from your views) I will apply my limited abilities to this question. By the way, were my percentages correct and are you suuuure I wasn’t just returning your sarcasm. Good Day
