No major New Mexico news organization has had a sustained effort to focus light on, and critique, Richardson’s pay-to-play, his profligate spending, or his ruthlessness.

Wow, that’s a pretty scathing article. I don’t know how much of it is true, but Richardson certainly has a teddy bear image that seems to serve him well-—generally.

Richardson fits well the Marxist-Socialist Democrat thug role.

Richardson and I “met” via a phone call from him in 1979. I was a New Mexico business executive whose name was periodically in the papers as a nuclear energy advocate. He was a recent carpet-bagger who picked the state as a good prospect to elect him to the U.S. House and was looking for campaign support. When that 10-minute call ended, I thought to myself: the man is a pandering liar. I met him personally at a friend’s home a few weeks later, where he and his wife were passing out palm cards. The first “promise” on the palm card was directly opposite to the main point he emphasized in our earlier conversation, thus affirming my first impression. I have never encountered another individual whose bad character was so instantly obvious to me yet so apparently opaque to many others.

It wasn’t until his taking office in 2003 as New Mexico’s governor, however, that he revealed himself to be a dictator as well. Illustrative of his hubris was his immediate move to replace his predecessor’s appointees on boards (e.g., university regents) to which they had been constitutionally appointed to constitutionally set terms. He simply demanded their resignations, then replaced them with appointees who, again on demand, signed undated letters of resignation which could be dated and “accepted” if, as, and when the dictator chose for any reason whatsoever.

Clinton wanna-be.

Its 100% true. Furthermore, the author of the article was the only honest man in NM politics who also had a backbone. Richardson is corrupt beyond belief, and not a peep out of our local media. The scary part though is his bully impulse. He retaliates as though he were a third world leader, it’s well known here that he does so.

He was the coverup man appointed to energy dept when the Clintons allowed the Chinese access to our Nuclear and Rocket technology. He covered up Chinese spying and whitewashed the activities of North Korea.
One of the FEW places on earth that North Korean diplomats love to visit is the Governors mansion in Santa Fe. (no,,this isn’t black helicopter talk,, its a widely covered news story)

The North Koreans genuinely TRUST Richardson.

Also,, he has the Obama birth certificate problem,, its widely thought by many that he was born in Mexico, and is an illegal alien. But with him it’s simply not realistically provable, because he has a “born at home” story. But the story has been out here for many years, except in NM, nobody cares.

The seat he won for congress was specifically created for a hispanic. His MAIN issue that critical first time was to support the efforts of NM hispanics to fraudulently lay claim to Mexican land grant areas that their families sold 150 years ago. He is probably the dirtest governor in America and is basically a Mexican PRI leader as stated in the article.
And you are correct,, his fat teddy bear look has protected him.

He was a serious candidate for president, and the media told you none of this. The corruption in the media is truly frightening for Americas future

Amazing. What’s even more amazing is the recognition that there isn’t a single shred of anything about any of this in the MSM. Nobody outside NM would know anything at all about this if it weren’t for some lone voices. The power of the MSM to swamp any sort of cognitive knowledge seems to grow and grow, most menacingly.

Doesn’t seem a little strange, Blagojevich indicted and now impeached. Richardson indicted for “Pay for Play” yet no talk of impeachment.
Guess it pays to be on the side of Obama....

The whole state of New Mexico is permeated in political corruption and the citizens of this state deserve what they get. Even when some politician is finally found out and prosecuted for their behavior (Always by the Feds by the way, never does the State AG ever go after those who commit such crimes.) the citizens just turn-around and put the crook’s son, daughter, wife, cousin, nephew or niece into office. Even those who clear preformed their terms with unmitigated malfeasance (such as our former Secretary of State during whose term of office millions of dollars were mis-spent, wasted or just unaccounted for.) are prevented from running again for office. The city of Albuquerque is presently ruled by a Mayor Martin Chavez who could give North Korean Leader Kim Jong-il lessons on how to rule. I expect any day to see giant pictures of him mounted about the city and that soon city workers will be required to assemble before such portraits at the beginning of each work day and there swear their un-dying loyalty and obedience to Che Chavez. New Mexico has clearly become California ‘East’ and will soon find itself in the same direr straits that it’s comrade to the west is finding itself in.

Not to mention the democrat party in NM is supported by the Palestinian front, terror linked via-conviction, CAIR. They are among Richardsons donors, and when Patricia Madrid ran against Heather Wilson for congress, she was was one of only 5 congressional candidates, nationwide, supported by the islamic terror bagman 2 years ago.

Between Their dealings with Red Chinese spies and money, North Korean clinon Nike plants,, and Hezbollah bagmen,, the NM democrat party is one of treason.

Oh,,and Obama had NO IDEA they were like that.

Thanks for the background info, guys. Another especially cogent lesson in a long series of lessons as to the role of the MSM in keeping this stuff under the radar screen. As I said, there’s not the slightest shred of anything about BR in the ether outside of NM.
