Sean Salazar seans@sean4senate.com

Dr. Sean Salazar brings a fresh approach in serving the citizens of WA State. His desire to bring change arises from his humble background to his current occupation. Having run for Congress once before, Sean understands the practicality of campaigns and politics. Being a Chiropractic Doctor, he undersands the needs to deliver quality and affordable healthcare. His background as a military veteran with overseas service provides a perspective of national security coupled with quality education.

As one of five children raised by a single mother and growing up in several of Seattle’s low income housing projects, Sean experienced the several degrees of welfare and inner city poverty. It was during those formative years that Sean developed an understanding of the needs of Americans living under challenging circumstances.

I might add, so far they’re unsuccessfully electorally. However Rossi was ABSOLUTELY robbed in 2004 and ACORN was part of all that. It’s a SHAME and we fought the good fight on that. We were very hopeful for Rossi in 2008, til McCain started dipping down. Now Gregoire’s in trouble with more problems than she can shake her little liberal wand at.

I’m sure Dr. Salazar is a good man, but I don’t think he has the name I.D. to win.

IMHO, the nominee should be either Rob McKenna, Dave Reichert, or Dino Rossi.

I image Dino’s name is wearing thin. Reichert definitely has a shot. I don’t know McKenna.

Careful that sounds dangerously close to me.

It’s true - but he also did sports medicine for the LA/St. Louis Rams - but you’re right, he’s not an MD. However, he was well spoken at the recent Seattle Tea Party. I want to see who else will challenge Murray though.

“People’s Republic of King County”

True nuff - but this is a state wide race and winnable. Dino should have won the statewide race in 2004.

Will Dave Reichert run? He could win. Is he a bit of a RINO though? I don’t think he’s as bad as some RINOs though. I guess I’d call him a moderate. And fiscally sound.

Also, who would run for his vacated seat? Hope there’s a conservative to take his place. I should know this stuff - but it’s hard to keep up and especially when the races have been demoralizing of late. But I’m encouraged by the response to the Tea Parties.

I must say - I think the Republican party needs to narrow their focus to 3 or 4 key issues. I’m not saying the other issues are not important and that we can’t hold the line there - but focusing on them has prevented us from even being able to contribute in the public square. I think we should currently focus on and tap into the underlying passion for:
1) Fiscal responsiblity - lower government spending and lower government tax burden
2) National defense - strong foreign policy
3) Proper immigration and illegal immigration policy

At the state level we should really just hammer away at #1 and, while remaining strong on social issues of interest - and addressing them in the debates and such - we should not lead with such issues. That will allow us to win statewide races.

I think that Dave Reichert is leaning towards reelection, but hasn’t ruled out running against Murray. He may decide that it’s less hassle to travel from coast to coast while face tough reelections every six years rather than every two. I also don’t rule out Rob McKenna running, though he may want to run for Governor instead.

Not McKenna or that weasel Sam Reed. Those RINOs were more than happy to aid and abet the Democrat vote fraud we’ve seen in the state lately.

Reichart’s ACU rating is down to a not good 56 lifetime (his predecessor Jennifer Dunn’s was a higher than I would have thought 90). But I guess I take him for this. His house seat would be tough to hold though.

I wish Dunn had run for the Senate. I was really shocked at her untimely death (of course, had she won, the appointee would’ve put it right back in the rodent hands).

I totally forgot she died.

Possibly with slightly different circumstances she might have made it to a hospital or something in time.

I’d support Reichert against Murray. We can be vigilant with him over time, and make sure he knows we’re here, and doesn’t veer toward RINOism!

“more than happy to aid and abet the Democrat vote fraud we’ve seen in the state lately.”

Yes, very annoying. Where’s our will to fight, at least? What about Rossi for Senate? Wow, if he loses a 3rd time (albeit by fraud perpetrated against him in 2004), he would probably be done with statewide races, don’t you think?

One thing that occured to me- if Reichert ran for the Senate, Rossi would be a great candidate to succeed Reichert in the House.

No, I don’t even live in Washington state. It’s just an observation based on research.
